Got this for my wife as a gift, we plugged it in and instantly got an error message tried to contact sawgrass, there is NO WORKING number for sawgrass, spent hours researching and watching videos just to find the right video that explained the error message as a faulty motor…(there were so many videos of people complaining about this product). This was an expensive item that was a huge disappointment! Being able to talk to someone for a replacement or some sort of assistance would have been great. Save yourself the headache and buy something different ... show more

    • Great bundle for starting out in Sublimation
Great bundle for getting started. This kit has everything you need to explore the world of sublimation. The drinkware blanks are great quality and produce exceptional results once you get the press dialed in. If you want a plug and play turnkey system out of the box then you need to stick with vinyl. If you are willing to invest some time, patience, and willingness to learn then you will be rewarded. Different blanks require different temps, times, and pressures. The included manual and Swing website gives you the numbers to get you pretty close but you will need to experiment to get them dialed in. So far I have gone through the mugs and skinny tumblers with excellent results. The only thing I felt was odd was they included a bunch of flat blanks like tags & coasters but that requires a flat press (not included). We already have one we use for vinyl transfers and I will experiment with those soon. ... show more

I have enjoyed using this printer. It was easy to set up and the program that comes with it is fantastic. As I keep learning how to sublimate I will upgrade to the sg1000, in time. I would highly recommend this printer.

I got this machine about a month ago and haven’t used it yet. But when setting it up it already says the ink is low. With the price of these machines I would expect to at least have full ink…..

I am new to sublimation. The ink is very very very expensive and sawgrass will VOID your warranty if you install other brands of ink, which many many people do after the warranty period ends and they love the quality of the other just as much..They do not tell you this, ink is not a “ part” but in the SG 500 guide they kind of say something like “ we recommend” using only sawgrass ink. Customer service is a headache, they issue a “ ticket” or appointment, worse than the doctors office wait. When I had an issue with a piece of aluminum falling off the feeder assist they demanded I give them the serial number off the ink!!! Reminds me of the Microsoft monopoly years ago. Also if you want to print longer than the 8.5x14 paper you have to put out another wad of money for the PLASTIC optional part that allows for longer sub paper. I hate their “ design space” so I use my own designer software to send my prints to the printer. If you want ling wait times for help, very expensive ink and bossy customer service that act like your parent then by all means buy one. ... show more

Item came, and was exactly like it said the only issue was when you order these. It does not state that it’s only a starter pack of ink so they are never full, which was very disappointing. If we had known ahead of time we would’ve ordered more ink.
