I had a set of those cheap plastic saw horses that failed so often I literally took my circular saw to them and sent them to the land fill in a fit of rage. That left me without, and I needed something, so after much deliberation, I chose these over the nice Buro Brand I see everywhere. Primarily because I didn’t want to have something that takes up precious room in my garage. First impressions. These things are heavy. They came in a box that left me thinking: Dear God what have I done. Even the UPS driver grimiest when putting them down. I was there. I unboxed them, way more manageable one at a time, but still… heavy. So I unfolded them and set them up. Lots of adjustability, which I like, but more than a little clunky. Way more thought then a saw horse deserves, but, remembering my fit of rage at the plastic pieces o (you know what) I decided to give them a chance. They are not elegant, but they are solid! After fiddling with setup for way too long, I got them where they needed to be, put a couple of eight foot 2x4s between them, threw a piece of plywood on top, screwed my portable table saw and chop saw to the plywood and proceeded to project. They didn’t move a millimeter. I felt like I was working on a solid bench. Job done, tools put away. Plywood removed, 2-byes leaning in a corner, I again spent too much time folding them up and putting them away. I like that they store well, albeit somewhere you don’t need to lift them very high, and I am chalking up the time to learning curve. I trust the for their strength, so I will definitely keep using them. I wish they were just a bit better engineered. All in all, I am satisfied with the purchase. I can live with the shortcomings in light of the strength and stability they offer.
