I love this coffee table!!! It's very solid and looks like an expensive piece of furniture. The white-wash distressed look is very nice. The assembly instructions are very well done. I put it together over the course of two evenings!! In fairness I was going it alone and it is a little heavy so its probably better to have two people put this together. It comes with a lot of pieces so it's best to set them all out and know what you're working with before you start. The feature of the lift up top is not only cool but it's convenient and usable. When you lift up the top there is storage space to put remote controls or even a small throw in. But in the end I got it together and it looks absolutely amazing! ... show more

Took about 1.5 hrs to assemble, fairly easy instructions. Great farm house or cottage look to it. Great size for smaller spaces,looks fantastic on our lake house. Must use 2 hands to lift table top,not real sturdy but everything else is great! Also bought the small end table that matches!

This table was so perfect! A bit difficult putting together, would not recommend doing this BY yourself! But this table is so sturdy seems to be made from really good pieces of wood tbh I have cut myself on the edges so be careful! A bit tiny but it was what I was looking for instead if a ottoman. Prefect space and nice for when you want to use it as a table! I would highly recommend this table to anyone I was reading through the reviews and I was honestly nervous now that I got it and had it for a week I am so thrilled with the outcome. ... show more

Let’s be honest, this is made from pressed particle board and the “ white farmhouse boards” are like wallpaper on particle board. The assembly was a pain in the butt and it’s so cheaply made that as I was putting it together certain places started to peel and on the legs from moving it 1 time, literally moved it 1 time while putting it together and the white started to peel off. I read a ton of the reviews before deciding to just try buying it. I was worried about the bottom shelf falling through or the look not being as pictured. Looking closely, you can tell it's not a wood finish but I still thinks it gives our living room a great coastal cottage finish. Lifts up well (lift from both sides). Put some pressure on the bottom shelf to make sure it was sturdy as well as the top and it holds well. It took awhile to put together but did most of it myself and just made sure I followed step by step. 100% satisfied with the product! ... show more

We purchased this table and within a matter of 2months it is already broken - made of cheap particle board and just poor quality over all. The springs for the table top lift are so aggressive if your not holding on for dear life everything on the table literally goes flying. It seems like a real hazard for anyone with kids especially. The look of the table even cheap. The price dropped almost $50 the week after we purchased and the new price seems more appropriate, but to have a broken piece of furniture after less than 2months is a waste of money no matter how much you spend. ... show more

Instructions are written plainly and are easy to follow, although not fully reading each step might land you in a bind! Assembly was done solo in just under an hour (a second person would have been helpful for attaching the top). There is absolutely no wobble, this piece is sturdy. I'm sure the manufacturer would recommend against it, but I can sit on coffee table and it supports my weight without issue. A couple of downsides. This is NOT a hyrdaulic lift top, it has a spring loaded mechanism. If opened carelessly, it will catapult anything placed atop the table across the room (which could be fun, so long as it isn't your dinner plate). The finish is appropriate for the price, but it feels necessary to re-state that is just a laminate wrap and does not have the appearance of true authentic wood. ... show more

The first one showed up with damaged box and visible damage to table with out having to remove it from the box. Sent it back for replacement. Got the replacement, started to build and there was damage at a joint (see pictures) none of the edges lined up correctly, cheep material (expected with price), and poor finish. Total waste of money, don’t bother wasting time or money. I would request my money back but it’s already built and I don’t think they will take it back like that. ... show more
