Finding quality desks with a moderate price is not always easy. This desk is well worth the price. Took a while to install but it looks wonderful in my office. Well made with plenty of drawer space for all your office needs.

This desk comes as a flat-packed item that must be fully assembled. I am using it right now to type this review. The desk is narrow and provides less surface space than many other desks. It's great for working with a computer where a lot of desk space isn't needed. If you need room to spread items such as reference materials out then you may need a bigger desk. Check the dimensions carefully. I found the leg space to be very comfortable (I am a 5'9 man). The drawers are more than adequate for me and the two top shallow drawers are no problem. Assemble was straightforward but somewhat complex (there are a lot of pieces). There were no significant problems in putting it together. ... show more

It’s a very nice desk for the price and ticked all the boxes for what I needed. As others have mentioned, the instructions were detailed and easy to follow. Everything came packed extremely well and there was damage during transport. It weighs A LOT! you will definitely want two people to move it to the location you will be setting it up in. I was able to put it together myself in about 6 hours, but allow for some time to unbox it and organize all of the parts. A couple of things to note: 1. Be careful to put the wooden dowels in the correct holes and not the ones meant for the metal ones. 2. the instruction's says to not tighten the screws fully when attaching the cross beams to the table top…. I found this to be a mistake, as one the top was in place, i could no longer reach the in to tighten afterwards, the drawer was in the way and a normal screwdriver wouldn’t fit. 3. I didn't install the door front to the keyboard tray, and that is a good option, in my opinion. My only complaint is that with the keyboard tray in place, i find that there isnt much room for my legs and i have to lower my chair a bit. I wish the keyboard tray had been made slightly shallower or the desk raised by an inch or two. (just my opinion). I’m only 5’4, so this might be more of an issue for a larger person. (in which case I might suggest not installing the keyboard drawer). But also note that I often like to sit with my legs crossed or Indian style, so that may be only a problem for me. Im also glad I purchased on Amazon site, as a saved a few hundred dollars off the same desk (branded differently) on Wayfarer. And it came quicker than stated. ... show more

I searched for months and months for the perfect home desk, and over a year later I’m still pleased. It did take my husband quite a while to assemble (several hours I believe) but it looks beautiful. It definitely looks more expensive than it was. It holds up very strong, some drawers have been packed full with books and they haven’t buckled under the weight. The drawers all slide in and out very easily. The top hasn’t faded or worn down at all even with kids and doing kind of harsh things on it (nails) plus the cleaning and upkeep. This desk truly doesn’t disappoint. As many others have noted, it does come with a lot of pieces and takes some time to assemble. Altogether, it took me about six hours to put it together, but I did it in increments over two days—and all on my own (I'm a 49-year-old woman). The only part I needed help with was lifting and attaching the top, which my son kindly assisted with. Some people mentioned the drawers being sticky, but that’s likely only if the screws on the drawer rails aren’t installed flush. If they're sticking out even slightly, the drawers won’t glide smoothly. Overall, it’s a beautiful and well-made piece of furniture. I got it at a great price, and it looks fantastic in my space. Just keep in mind—it’s very heavy, so plan accordingly when moving or assembling. ... show more

Took me, a 49 year old partially handy woman, 2 days to assemble. Directions were very clear and easy to follow. Screws went in super hard and not always flush as should be. Drawers stick and don’t slide well. I thought for the price it would be nicer but at least it looks okay. Good enough for a home office I guess. ... show more
