I love the sturdiness and the beautiful color! It was the perfect mixture of ash-gray and tan! I can't say enough about this lift-top table! I will post pictures tomorrow (after I clean up). They did not disappoint from order-to-door! Wait, wait, wayminute!!!!! It arrived early and the instructions... they had comic-relief 😁, which you will definitely need when you have someone helping you. My husband is mechanically-inclined and does not/will not read/ barely listened to Me READING instructions! I quit helping 3 times and got up off the floor and had a drink of very strong egg-nog! Don't get me wrong the instructions were great and very clear! Don't be afraid to buy this beautiful piece of furniture and a 6-pack LoloL!!! Thank you!! 11.8.18 I promised you guys pictures...I do still love my table and the color!! I do have one concern...the corners are very very sharp :-(. This poses a problem for my grandchildren and anyone who happens to brush up against the corner. It is sharp enough to tear the skin. SUGGESTION: Until Sauder rounds off the corners just a tad, do not allow children to play near it. It is still beautiful! ... show more

    • Very bad design, beautiful laminate

I had been shopping for a new coffee table for a long time and decided on this one. It ended up with us contacting the company to get replacement parts after it broke within hours and it still doesn't work right Pros: The veneer on this is great, it looks just like the picture. It has a texture on it that is unlike any other piece of fake wood furniture I've seen. It really does look real. Cons: The bottom of the table isn't supported by anything. Once we set ours up I rested my feet on it and it broke. Any weight at all, cat jumping in there, storage would break it again because the design is horrible with zero support. The company did send us a new bottom right away but that doesn't change a bad design and we know this table will only last until someone touches the bottom or one of our furbabies jumps in there. It really takes away from the look and the functionality when you have to keep the open parts closed off because of it's poor engenering. The lift top is very wobbly going up and down and it doesn't close all the way. You need to put your arms around it and pull lightly as you raise it and it doesn't raise smoothly. Once it is up it is more secure. We checked everything to make sure it was assembled correctly and it was, everything was tightened the same but it's as if one of the springs is much much loser than the other. Overall, I do not recommend this item unless it is going to be purely decorative for you and never touched or if you don't mind replacing it very very soon after purchase. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Loving my new coffee table. Been on the hunt for a convertible coffee table for a whole now. The color is beautiful and neutral. Hint- I added the assembly and I’m very happy I did! Would’ve taken me hours to put together. Assembly was smooth and I highly recommend it!

    • Falls apart

So, first of all it takes a while to assemble this table. 2 hours of assembly I am finally tightening the last screw and ready to set it up when the side of the table falls off. The CAM lock nuts were ineffective, that is why the side of this table didn't hold. Second, if you think IKEA furniture has it's challenges, at least their photos are easy to see. Finally, I could not find a video to support the process for the exact model # so I had to try and match the assembly from a different model. I completely disassembled and double checked if I had the correct hardware (which I did) and still had a coffee table with a side that would not "attach". However, after a combined 4 hours of work on this table I was not about to un-assemble it again, just to find a box to return it (SUPER PAIN!) I resorted to super glue and small nails. Rule: You get what you pay for. But even then this table is a disappointment. If the super glue and nails hold, it's not a bad looking table... from a far. ... show more

First and for most I am an engineer. I make instructions for a living as a manufacturing enginneer. You have a 2 1/4" gap on the table top! I spent an hour trying to figure out if I assembled it wrong. No. The holes for the table top is off. When you raise the table top and lower to the frame it should cover the entire frame. It does not! 2 1/4" gap at the back side. I made new holes to make this fit. This should not take 2 hours. 1 hour at the most. Really disappointed. You guys need to check your dims. ... show more

    • Wobbly top pull up table and poor rubber stopper design

How this table lowers is based a spring system, where the metal joins come to a rest on 2 rubber stoppers inside the table. If these wear out, which eventually they will and for ours they are worn down almost halfway from just a month of use, then you basically have pull out table that will slam down on you once you put the top back. This would make more sense if they provided spare rubber stoppers but they only provided us with a single pair. When I pull the table out, both sides do not come out evenly, as well as putting it back in place. It functions well enough for a coffee table and for the price it is very reasonable. A simple fix for future is for them to provide the spare rubber stoppers. Also the wood design has some very prominent black spots that is different from the wood like texture that I mistake multiple times as stains or specs of dust. If i could go back in time and purchase a different coffee pull-up table I would. Alas I will be stuck with this until it breaks down in the near future. ... show more

    • Don't use the bottom shelves!

Instructions could be a little better, but otherwise wasnt too bad to assemble. We had a little confusion and had to redo a few steps. Once we finally got it put together, I was very happy with the result. It's exactly what we expected and is true to color from the pictures. Is a nice sturdy coffee table that lifts up beautifully. Very happy with it! UPDATE... We've had it 2 weeks and the bottom shelf already snapped from putting 2 books on the bottom shelf. We glued it the best we could and that's given away again (after making sure there's NO WEIGHT) on the shelves anymore. Pretty disappointed! ... show more
