A different type of excursion than implied in the description, but these shoes turned out to be PERFECT for not just trail running, but also a salmon fishing excursion. I am so impressed with these shoes. It was my first time wearing them, so there was no time for breaking them in. We had a hike, some hills, and reeling in salmon on a wet boat deck. My feet were happy happy happy! I never slipped once, and they offer excellent support. I've had many foot issues, including surgery to sever what was left of my plantar fascia ligament, so finding comfortable shoes is usually very difficult. I am so happy to have found these!

Nice neutral color and well made. However I am new to the Saucony brand and the sizing isn’t right for me. The medium width runs narrow in the toe box, and the wide ran a bit too wide mid-shoe. There was not much arch support in this model. However, I did find a men’s version of the shoe that does fit me well and has greater arch support.

I wear a size 8.5 so that's what I bought, but they feel like a size 8. My toe is almost touching the end, and the shoe is quite tight with only thin socks. I also have another 8.5 size pair of shoes by this same brand and they fit great. It's strange that there would be so much size variation within one shoe brand. I recommend you order a half-size up from what you typically wear. Aside from the sizing issue, the shoes are super cushiony and noiseless when you walk. They add some spring to your step. But after wearing them for half the day my feet are tired of being squished by the tightness of the shoes. I think I'll return these for a size 9.

The price can not be better for this surprisingly good trail shoe. This brand is new to me, so I took a guess on sizing. I could be a 7 I could be an 8 I chose a 7.5 regular fit and they are perfect for me. We hike all over Arizona and these can keep up with all the terrain I travel. No break in. The heal doesn’t slip. If you prefer more room in the tow box order up a half size. The cushioning is good yet the shoe is still supportive. When these wear out I will gladly buy again!

Won't buy any other brand. The toe box is wider and doesn't scrunch your toes like other athletic shoes. They are more reasonably priced than other brands too.
