I didn't like the smell, it had a strong musty odor.I had laid it on top of my old hat until I was ready to wear it and made that hat smell too so I had to wash everything I washed it on delicate cycle air dried it and when dried I could still catch a width of the odor. I don't know where this item came from or how long it's been sitting but it was really a musty and mildew smell. 😨😡😯

But these were vacation up north as I am a Floridian and not used to the cold. Thought I would take some precautions and make sure that I had everything needed for the cold.
