I bought this for ease of use in my car. I didn't have any issues with getting my iPhone to charge or connect to CarPlay. However, after 9 months of use (about once or twice a week - if that), the cable stopped working and I can no longer get my phone to connect correctly to my vehicle. (It works for a few minutes, then disconnects.) I switched cables and the issues were immediately resolved (and I haven't had issues since), so I know it's not a problem with my phone or vehicle. This cable was what I needed, but after having issues within less than a year of use, I am *not* purchasing a second one for replacement. ... show more
