I purchase the SATECHI mouse at the same time that I bought their slim W1 Wired Backlit Keyboard. The mouse connector is quite a bit longer than the keyboard connector and doesn't fit as snuggly in the port. (see image) The mouse connector is the lower one in the photo. The mouse works OK but I prefer the feel and responsiveness of my Microsoft mini laser mouse. The cables for both the mouse and keyboard are pretty stiff which means they don't lay flat and look a messy on the desk. Update 3-5-2023: The scroll wheel is beginning to squeak.

The best wired mouse I have owned since 95' - scroll button is all with cross grooves for friction. Has a simple rt/left and center button scheme.

Ooh, this is a really nice mouse! The knurled scroll wheel is such a great idea, and feels great. The gray and black perfectly matches the color scheme of a Space Gray MacBookAir. And including a cable wrap on the cord was a nice, thoughtful extra touch.

I really really like this mouse but after 1+ months of lite use, it started to squeaks. It becomes so unbearable that I have to take it apart: the first picture shows that the plastic axle is rubbing against plastic knob of the scroll wheel switch causing the squeak. The second picture shows that it is lubricated. It doesn't take a genius to prevent this squeaking problem in the first place. Just carelessly engineered and cheaply make(but marked up to $19.99); my other 10+ years old logitech mouse doesn't squeak. One star! I have to go buy a jar of lubrication grease, use a nano drop to fix the squeak and for the next many many years that jar of grease will be sitting on my shelf.

Mouse fits nicely in hand. It feels substantial without being bulky or clumsy. It tracks well. No lag or jerkiness. My only concern is that the cable is not as substantial as one might like. How well it holds up time will tell. In the mean time I’m happy with the mouse.
