I've recently tried a bunch of different 64oz water jugs/bottles. I try to drink a gallon of water every day, and at 64oz, you only have to refill the container once. I've noticed a number of different design approaches, and I think this product has my favorite design overall. Here are the features I'm considering. *Bulkiness – The jug has to be pretty big to hold 64oz, but if it's too big, you can't hold it with one hand. I've tried a bottle with no insulated walls that was easy to hold, but it got condensation everywhere. This bottle retains the insulation, and adds a narrower portion in the middle, to accommodate a smaller grip. This works perfectly for me, although I happen to have giant hands. *Insulation – I've tried thicker bottles that probably keep the contents colder for longer. That said, this bottle keeps drinks cold for hours, and that is more than enough for me. I've yet to take a sip of water that has gotten down to room temperature. *Top design – I'm not usually a fan of straws, but I found that I really like the "pop up" style of straw that has a wider plastic attachment at the top and lifts up when you open the lid. This bottle happens to have that feature, and you can also omit the straw to just drink straight from the opening. Regardless of which option I use, I like not having to unscrew the lid every time I drink. The pop up button works reliably and even has a locking option. This is the best top design I've seen on an insulated jug. *Handle – A big jug like this needs a solid handle, because it gets heavy when full. I've seen Paracord straps, nylon loops, and plastic handles used for this purpose. The first two options are nice, but they take too long to dry if they get wet. This product has a sturdy enough plastic handle that dries quickly and feels secure. *Cleaning – I have one stainless steel mug that says it's dishwasher safe, but all the others – this product included – are "hand wash only". I wish this product was dishwasher safe, but it's not a deal-breaker. I have a battery powered brush now that I use to clean tall bottles. I assume the top and straw components are safe to put in the top rack of the dishwasher – I haven't had any problems doing that so far. In summary, this product is great. The only thing I can really criticize is the giant white logo on the front. I could do without that. Otherwise, this jug is nearly perfect.

I drink a lot of water, and it a constant hassle filling up my small water bottles constantly. This thing carries a whopping half gallon of water, and does a great job of keeping it cold for a long time. It is far cheaper than the name brand equivalent, and just about the same quality. I tried out the straw on it but decided to ditch it and drink directly from the top - I found this to be easier. The straw is nice in the fact that is auto-retracts when you close the lid, but is kind of a pain and on top of that I hate cleaning any kind of reusable straw. I do wish there was a slightly narrower point on the bottle to grip to make it a one-handed process. I have medium gloves sized hands and drinking out of this thing is definitely a two-handed operation which is kind of awkward. Very nice product and extremely durable, it has already taken quite a few falls without any signs of damage. 10/10 would recommend.

Definitely a weird set up, never had to assemble my own straw for my drinking bottle. But it's a really sturdy and aesthetically nice bottle. I would buy it again, but I do think it should be a little cheaper since other brands come with a bit more included.
