Features

  • THE SECONDARY OPTICAL DESIGN: PPF: 112 umol/s, PPFD: 290 mol/s/m2 @ 1ft. Through the lens for secondary scientific light distribution, improve light utilization, give plants more supplementary light, and improve light bulb lifespan to 25,000 hours.
  • IMITATE THE SOLAR SPECTRUM: Customize a more ideal full life cycle full spectrum supplementary light program, covering the entire visible spectrum of 400nm-780nm; Color rendering index Ra is close to 100, infinitely close to natural light, suitable for every cycle of plant growth, effectively promotes plant growth, and improves crop yield and quality.
  • PATENTED COC TECHNOLOGY: Chip on Ceramic, SANSI's patented technology replaces the traditional Mcpcb aluminum substrate with a non-conductive ceramic heat sink, and directly solder the LED chip on the ceramic heat sink, effectively reducing the system thermal resistance between the LED PN junction and the surface of the heat sink, resulting in faster heat conduction and higher product reliability, makes the SANSI bulb has higher light efficiency.
  • SAFE AND RELIABLE: The lamp body is made of special ceramic material, and the flame retardant grade reaches V0; the reinforced insulation structure design, no risk of electric shock, is safer; the whole shell material reaches the WF2 anti-corrosion grade, which is more reliable and durable; low IR, less heat radiation, avoiding close Distance exposure burns plants.
  • Guarantees: ETL listed & CE certification, quality and safety verified, 5 years warranty.

  • A solid grow light that I'm excited to see the plants grow!
This grow light is solid! And when I mean solid, I mean it’s well-constructed. It feels heavy and well built. I'm not sure if it’s the ceramic dissipation modules or just how well its built but it’s a heavier light. I'm a big fan of this as the grow light will remain on pretty much 24/7 when I'm using it. The hollow design will let it cool excellent as I’ve had a few leds burn out due to heat. Between the mass of it and the design allowing for excellent air flow, it should last. 50000 hours is the advertised time but we’ll see. It advertises as being IP66 waterproof. I can't say if it is or isn't as I haven't gotten it wet and I don't plan on it. It’s going to just be hung over my plants for the time being. Installing it was a breeze. The included hook you can hang with has an easily adjustable height pin so you push it in to adjust the cable. You have the option of using that clip on, looping a wire over something and tightening, or you can directly mount the light with the bracket. Any of these work. I appreciate the adjustable hook as its a very nice feature as I do change the height of the light periodically. It also includes an on/off switch that has the rubber protector over it (for waterproofing I imagine). In terms of using it, I've only used a grow light that emits the red and blue spectrum. This light is a full spectrum light and emits 3915 lumen at 70watts. Its impressive. I wouldn't have this light anywhere near where I'm sleeping as it lights up a room. Make sure you don't have it facing you when you turn it on as well. I can update later on if it helps with plant growth but at the current time, I haven’t had it long enough to vouch for this. The only other part to this light I’d mention is that it has a 5 year warranty. Not sure if I’ll ever need it but it’s nice to have that option if something does go wrong. I’ve had a couple Sansi products and not a single one has failed yet. So overall, a well built light with great features that should last. And if it doesn't last, Sansi backs it with a warranty that'll possible outlast the plant you're growing! ... show more

  • A true LED grow light that's really full spectrum
I've been growing under lights for almost 10 years now and I have to be honest about lighting and that is light quality really matters. I first started using florescents for starting heirloom tomato plants from seed to sell to customers who wanted plants they couldn't find in any big box stores and the t-5 was great for this purpose. Then moving to Montana with the Airforce really put me in a bind for growing tomatoes under florescents so I started using HID Lighting. Then LED grow lights came on the scene and I was very excited to have a light specifically tailored to plant growth, bit was I wrong. This blurple light killed of my tiny Tim hydroponic tomatoes anything else placed under the light didn't survive so fed up I was done with LED grow lights and went back to the tried and true florescents t-5 high output. Then this light comes on the scene and from the reviews and testimonials I knew LED lights had finally matured into plant growing machines. The first I have to say about this light is that it's bright very bright and the light spread is excellent. Second is the build quality, I'm not into things that is built like nobody cares about doing their best to make a quality product but this light is different. It's build with quality and it reminds me of a very important term we used in the military , attention to detail and with this grow light Sansi really nailed it. And last is the price, I know they say that you get what you pay for, but with this light you are getting more for the price. Oh and did I mention that the spectrum is the closest I've ever seen to natural sunlight. I plan to buy more of these lights because they are well worth it 👍. Thanks Update: The Sansi light is now being tested to see if it's possible to grow a cabbage plant used the Sansi LED as the sole source light, and so far the young cabbage plants are responding well to the lights as they are hung 18" above the plants. ... show more

  • Sansi Panel Lamp
I had been building up my lighting system using Sansi bulbs, PVC pipe and connectors and hydroponic grade quad socket cables I ordered from Amazon previously. The completed product would have had twelve 24W bulbs in three "x" fixtures daisy-chained to each other and would have replaced my effective but inefficient 125W CFLs. Unfortunately I was not able to complete the light array as the special socket cable was no longer available. I had to settle for an array of eight bulbs which was OK and put out good light but I still needed more lamps. I went on Amazon to Sansi to see what other kind of hydroponic lighting they offered and found an LED panel closely based on their flood/utility light. This new panel looked promising based on reviews so I ordered it. It arrived quickly within a week of ordering. As with the other Sansi products I have ordered, it came in a neat and tight box. At about $65 this light is the most expensive and the highest wattage I have purchased from Sansi and its build shows it. The designers put a lot of thought into its construction. The unit is solid and heavy for its size but much lighter than my modular fixtures. The switch on the cord is protected with a waterproof housing. The cable itself is a good heavy gage and permanently affixed to the unit. The lamp is not daisy chainable but I found a work around by using a heavy duty T-tap and extension cord. Sansi wisely advises tying the cable to the lamp s handle to reduce strain on its attachment point. The panel is quite small, just a bit larger and wider than my eight inch tablet. The 12 cobs take up most of the panel and have the trademark fanless cooling ceramic heat sinks. The well-sealed driver takes the rest of the panel and serves as a base when the lamp is perched on its handle. It is a good design as the unit can get pretty warm when in use. The cobs do a good job of providing bright light that shines all the way down as long as the plant is small but a big problem with hanging lamps is that if the plant is thick and tall, it can block most of the light to the lower leaves. Sansi seems to have addressed this problem by providing multiple mounting options. I decided to hang mine over a still short but rapidly growing slicing tomato. Sansi includes a wire for a center point mount but I found the heavy power cord caused the panel to tilt when hanging so I abandoned that arrangement and improvised a mount of my own (see picture) that hangs straight. By itself it this panel does not quite replace a CFL but two or three panels in conjunction with Sansi s excellent 24W bulbs just might do it. It is a good light and will be great in a tent or box grow should I try those methods. ... show more
