I was looking for a replacement desk top for my daughter's old Ikea desk and found this entire standing desk for the same price as just a desk top. Naturally I was pretty skeptical and wasn't expecting top quality for a $100 standing desk. I bought myself a commercial quality one a few years ago for just under $1000 so naturally I wasn't expecting them to be comparable - but there are a lot of great features. The desk was packaged incredibly well and arrived at the early end of the delivery estimate. Instructions were simple and clear and setup went fast. The desk itself feels very sturdy. The top is kind of thin - I think I might want to put a support across the back for my dual monitor arm. But it's probably not necessary. The pattern looks exactly as pictured. I was expecting there to be some wobble at this price point, but there's barely any. The raising/lowering mechanism is quiet and smooth. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Pros: Solid build, Easy to assemble, accommodates a variety of table sizes, smooth lower/raise motion. Cons: Could have used an extra hardware attachment hole on the table support. I turned my old 36x39" dining table into my computer stand. I needed the width to accommodate my two 27" vertical mounted LG monitors and my desktop computer while having enough table space for my keyboard, Ipad and Phone table mount. I was worried the table support width was too short to fit the 39" side of the table; it worked out perfectly. My next concern was the combined weight of the table itself, two 27" monitors, monitor stands, desktop computer, drink decanter, and all the other items on my desk which added to approximately 110lbs. The motor handle the weight very well. This stand only has up or down and no memory feature, however, I really don't need it since i keep the table height the same 90% of the time. quality is what you would expect from sanodesk/flexispot (good). although slower than more higher-end electric desks, it's still more convenient than using a crank in my opinion. also, a good bang for your buck. bought on sale for $109.99 (original price: $129.99). side note: for the model i purchased (Color: Black Frame+black Top | Size: 43x24"), if you plan on buying your own wood for the table top, the minimum size can be 16"×35.5" (measured the top of the frame before installing the wood provided in the box, see images for model). ... show more

I buy this desk for my new apartment and try to set up a perfect study environment. And so far, I love this desk. The sturdy and big table can easily accommodate the monitor and all my studying materials. The guide was also clear, and the assembly was quick and easy.     • Serious problems installing transmission rod

The assembly was simple until I got to the transmission rod, and that started an hours-long period of hell. The seller does not explain adequately how to install the transmission rod, and to make a very long story short, I had a lopsided support that I could not get to reset and lower for hours. When it finally decided to do so after many identical attempts, the other side wasn't even, and I had to manually turn that side to lower with half the transmission rod. Since I just needed this as a desktop support and only really needed to raise it once and leave it at that height, I cannot speak to how this works after being raised and lowered regularly. But it is supporting my desktop from IKEA, which I needed to raise up so it fits over a heating/cooling unit in my apartment. It solved a problem for me since I did not want that to be dead space anymore, and so I started putting desks or other tables over them. I wish I had thought of this solution sooner for this particular tabletop, since it was beginning to bow in the middle. This desk frame gives it the support it needs in the middle, while the legs fit on either side of the heating/cooling unit. ... show more

Love it! Setup was easy, goes up and down just fine. I bought it for a treadmill underneath it and it fits. Design and color is pleasing to me and the top doesn't feel super cheap. Only thing is that it is a bit wobbly but it may be because the desk is too high up or I didn't screw it tight enough. It's been almost a month with this standing desk and I'm loving it so far. The stands are very sturdy and can hold my two 27inch monitors. For a desk thats 48" x 24", this is perfect for a small-compact room. I can adjust the height of my desk to my liking and it also helps with my back posture. Assembly is pretty quick and easy.
