Color: Fairies Dance in the Sky
This is a intricate 3D puzzle made of typical puzzle cardboard material. The design is of a cozy Japanese style village with tons of natural features. It is shaped in such a way that it can be placed in a narrow spot on a bookshelf or even a desk. It requires concentration and patience to put together, so if you're someone with those attributes, this will be a great activity that can become a permanent display piece. The puzzle is difficult to put together, but unlike a jigsaw puzzle it is not meant to be just a brain teasing process. You are building something that can become a decorative knick knack, so the process of building it is more like that of an airplane model, or even repotting a plant. The pieces fit well, my main problem was that you needed things to be perfect in order to allow gravity not to work against you. It was kind of like putting together a house of cards, although certainly way sturdier and more secure. But it did have that type of feel. I was able to put it together but unfortunately gravity did win out and it fell apart again on me. I am not the best with my hands, so I consider it a victory that I was even able to finish assembling it. Someone who is used to jigsaws or model building shouldn't have that much trouble with it, maybe I'll try again and this time reinforce it with some glue or tape along the way. Overall it is a unique gift for a puzzle lover or other crafty person in your life. The artwork on the finished model is beautiful, with rich coloring and awesome imagery. I almost would have preferred to buy a fully assembled version of this product, but I don't think everyone will have trouble assembling it.

This book book 3d puzzle looks like it will be a ton of fun! It is very intricate with a bunch of tiny detailed pieces and all of them are printed in vivid colors. I love how this looks and I'm excited to put it together

I am really flying through book nooks! I absolutely love these things. This one is a great one! I love how detailed the design is - there is always something new to discover. As I put it together, the instructions are quite helpful. I haven’t noticed any issues with them yet. They make it very simple to put the kit together in a relaxing way. So much fun!!

This is not my first Book Nook Kit, but it is my favorite. This kit came with clear instructions and everything you need to complete the Book Nook. All of the pieces fit together perfectly, which has been an issue with other kits I’ve tried before. This was a great puzzle for me to put together, and I think viewing it as a puzzle is what makes it fun. Also it’s just so cute and will make a nice decoration for a bookshelf.

Building this was a project of both love and hate. While I enjoy putting things together, I’d never done one of these before and expected a bit of a challenge. This started out good then got frustrating pretty quick. All of the pieces are here, including glue and an itty bitty screwdriver for the LED light board. Around page 6 in the instruction booklet things took a downward turn. Some issues I had: pieces totally mislabeled in the booklet, wooden pieces that did not line up like the booklet showed, confusing instructions, the primary back pieces had snap in holes for bigger pieces inside of an area meant for a glue on piece, and some pages had pictures with no parts labeled. I ended up guessing which way a piece should go quite often since it was either not labeled right, or the instructions didn’t make sense. One part I had to take apart three times to make sure the right side was showing - it ended up snapping. I was able to glue it to another piece so it stayed put. I mean, it does look adorable and the breaks and backwards pieces aren’t noticeable unless you look very close. For aesthetic, it gets 4 stars. For building instructions, it gets 2 stars. Let’s call it a 3.
