  • works with my Sound Device field mixer
Capacity: 128GB Style: Memory Card Only
I bought a couple pairs of these to work with my Sound Devices 8-Series mixer. The cards work exactly as they are supposed to. They are cost-effective and deliver a large storage size for multiple days of recording. I was using 32GB cards and the 128GB size is great in that I do not need to switch cards nearly as often and likewise have no fear of running out of space, as long as I practice good file management and back data up regularly. The 128GB cards permit me to mirror the drives and thus give me redundant recording to multiple drives, regardless of the number of tracks I arm for a recording session. these cards have provided me with a great measure of peace of mind due to the larger capacity storage and their seamless function with my sound recorder. ... show more

  • Great SD card as usual from SanDisk
Capacity: 256GB Style: Memory Card Only
I got this 256GB card to replace a 64GB card of the same model I got a while ago. The 64GB is labelled as 95MB/s while this card is labelled as 200Gb/s. That being said, I formatted both cards to ExFAT and tested them on an M2 Macbook Pro internal card reader and got roughly the same speed with both (Image is test of 256GB card). My guess is that maybe when I got the 64GB card, card readers weren't up to the task but either way, I'll stick with SanDisk for the foreseeable future. ... show more

  • Good cards, just keep in mind warranty replacements can be a chore
Capacity: 256GB Style: Memory Card Only
This review is for the 256 GB card. As sizes have increased and prices have declined, I have increased the size of my memory cards on my phones and tablets, previously using a 64GB and 128GB cards. With that being said, the brand I go with is Sandisk and when this went on sale for less than 30 bucks, I grabbed it. They have been reliable and most importantly have good lifetime warranties, although I will put that with a caveat that they can be a bit of a pain to deal with on getting replacements sent. I get the extreme pros because of the lifetime warranty as San disk has moved away from warrantying all of the SSD’s for life. For this particular card, I am using as an SSD for my old venerable I-pod, mainly for storing my 88 gigs of music files. This installed into my SSD card reader for my I-pod with no issues and recognized the full size without a hitch. The card’s transfer rate is fast. I copied the music files quickly with no issues. I can access the files quickly and easily and the card has worked reliably as I expect from Sandisk. Keep in mind that I got mine direct from AMZ. I suggest either that or a known reliable seller, which can make a difference in getting a real one versus not. If you get one that has different fonts or just looks different, I suggest checking with San disk directly to make sure you got what you expected. The only reason the rating for these are not 5 stars is because San disk has started lowering their warranties on their products and making it a bit more difficult to get warranty replacements. 4 stars ... show more

  • A staple for photographers
Capacity: 128GB Style: Memory Card Only
This is a staple for news photographers. SanDisk is a proven leader in memory cards. This size of card will allow you to shoot several stories worth of video before needing to format it clean. The speeds are precisely within the advertised range of V30s. Our shop uses these almost exclusively due to their reliability and capacity. Physically, they can handle the daily wear and tear of transferring to and from your camera and laptop/card readers with ease. They are affordably priced as well. While you may want to bump up to a V90 for things like 4K slo-mo, for the standard HD broadcast quality video, this card is the perfect workhorse to get the job done efficiently. ... show more

  • Amazingly Reliable!
Capacity: 128GB Style: Memory Card Only
All of the SanDisk cards I've ever used in my cameras, and that's a lot in the past 20 years, have been absolutely perfect. This 128gb card is no exception. I have never crashed a SanDisk card and they are very reasonably priced with bulletproof reliability.

  • Quality and speed
Capacity: 256GB Style: Memory Card Only
I have a Nikon the shots 10 fps and I shoot fast sports. This so the only card I have that can keep up. With a fast computer or laptop along with USB 3.0 the transfer rate from the card to the computer is crazy fast.

  • Dependable, easy format by camera
Capacity: 32GB Style: Memory Card Only
Have never had a read/write failure. Used here in Olympus OM-D E-M1 series pro cameras. The card is fast enough for 4K movies and uses very little power. Very long exposure photos work fine with this card. Reading via the SD Slot on Apple computers is like reading any disc drive. Allow the camera to format the card, very fast and also creates the file headers. You can plug the card into an adapter and read it via USB as well. I've used these in several CANON cameras and an Olympus digital sound recorder, too. The sound recorder is more demanding as it is continuous write to the card, full fidelity from crossed mic inputs. I leave the pictures on the card even after loading these to the computers or network as long term storage. Years later I might consolidate. I've never had a problem with these SD cards. ... show more
