  • it took me past the return date to figure out that this was a bad buy. Probably not every baby will react
Color: Blue
Our baby kept getting very sick after feeding him, it was confusing because food that didn't bother him before suddenly caused him to vomit and become lethargic. We almost took him to the ER one night because he was throwing up repeatedly. Since I was freezing food in several containers it took a lot of trial and error with home-made and store-bought food to discover that the issue was this food container. There is something in this that is not entirely safe. Unfortunately, it took me past the return date to figure out that this was a bad buy. Probably not every baby will react, but if you start having this problem try food frozen in other trays. I use bpa free ice trays with plastic wrap on top and haven't had any more problems. ... show more

  • Works Great for Freezing Eggs!
Color: Pink
Since buying eggs lately seems to be hit or miss at our local grocery store due to the Coronavirus shortages I decided to try freezing some eggs. After reading about it and finding out they can be frozen by taking them out of the shell and putting them in a sectioned container either whole or scrambled to use later. The article recommended using ice cube trays but I couldn't find any big enough to fit one whole large egg in each section so decided to look at baby food containers. I just finished freezing my first batch, 6 whole eggs and 6 scrambled, and the container worked great for this purpose! The sections are flexible enough to allow the frozen eggs to pop out fairly easily so they can be stored in a freezer bag and the storage container used to freeze another batch. For some reason the whole eggs were more difficult to remove than the scrambled ones but after putting the bottom of the container in some hot tap water for about 3 minutes they popped out easily too. I actually left mine in the hot water for 4 minutes and the bottoms had started to defrost so I decided to put each egg in a snack bag to put back in the freezer so they didn't stick to each other once they re-froze. I liked that this container had 12 compartments, most baby food freezer trays only had 9 and I appreciate being able to freeze a dozen eggs at a time with this one. The snap on cover is nice to have too, no worries about something in my freezer slipping into the eggs while they're freezing, or some of the egg sloshing out of the container while I'm putting it in the freezer. ... show more

  • You Need This In Your Life!
Color: Blue
I was given a baby bullet as a baby shower gift and it was the first time I was exposed to a silicone mold. Any time I made baby food the amount was more than the one 6 bullet mold could handle, so I ordered this one. Let me tell you, this one is waaaaay better! Obviously it can hold more, but it’s easier to get the frozen food out. You have the option of taking each one out as needed or, what I do, is remove all of them and put them in freezer baggies. (Tip: give it 3-5 min before pushing it out into your freezer storage containers. They slip out even faster!) A huge plus is that once you’re child is out of the baby food stage, this is safe for baking purposes. (All the temp details come in the box.) ... show more

  • I think the product is very good. After I received it
Color: Blue
First of all, I think the product is very good. After I received it, I washed it with soapy water. It was completely smelless. I feel the quality is very good. I saw there is a comment that the lid is not tight, I studied it myself, because the product is relatively large and needs to be covered around it is a little troublesome. But each button is perfect after it's covered. In short, I think this is a very good product, recommended. ... show more

  • Good product
Color: Blue
I have used the Mumi&Bubi trays, sage spoonful containers, mason jars and kiinde food pouches. I prefer these over the rest of the products Mumi&Bubi - The food is hard to pop out in these. I also didn't like the 1oz storage size - it was not enough Sage spoonfuls - these are so pretty looking - I wish they worked but they don't. The measurement is not good and the glass is not tempered which means you cannot place it in hot water or microwave Mason jars - my second best option. Kiinde pouches - it is a good to-go option but took me a while to put food in and the food stayed stuck in sometimes. Samuelworld - Very easy to clean with one of those oxo bottle brushes, easy to pop - you just have to apply pressure at the bottom. I typically freeze all kinds of fruits, veggies and lentil in here and pop out different combinations into mason jars the night before so that they are good to go the next day. I wish they also had a 1 oz size tray so that I could do more combinations. Right now I can only combine 2 different types of fruits and veggies. ... show more

  • THE STENCH!!!
Color: Blue
This product is amazing and it has been working great for a couple of months now but I cannot get the horrific smell off the silicone. The portions are 2-3 tbs of blended food for my baby. extremely easy to clean and easy to remove the frozen product. I just wish the old steak smell would go away but nothing works! Almost feel like I should get a refund. I hope it's safe but i havent had any issues yet. None the less great product and would still recommend but hopefully you don’t get a smelly one like I did ... show more

  • this CANNOT be food grade silicone
Color: Blue
I've used these cups for freezing baby food for months now and never noticed any smell. However, this is supposed to be rated to 425 F in the oven, so I tried using it to bake some baby food at 325 F. There was a terrible chemical smell that completely overpowered the food in the cups. These cups have been washed countless times in the dishwasher. There is no way that smell is right for food grade silicone and no way this is safe for babies. Honestly, there should be consequences to false advertising on Amazon but I guess this is what unscrupulous companies do; prey on the health of our children to make a dollar. ... show more

  • tip to get rid of the smell
Color: Blue
I love this tray. It's pretty much like the wee sprouts, but more portions and cheaper. I have the nuby garden fresh deep tray , and it's a hassle to get a cube out. This silicone is super soft at the bottom and removing a cube requires no warm water at all. There is a smell in the beginning, a strong smell that would not go away despite washing it over and over again. I was almost going to return it...then I came across a helpful tip somewhere. Boil the tray in normal water. And it worked like a charm. Boil it for like 10 mins. Voila. No smell! I'm going to buy more ... show more
