  • Doesn’t function properly
This washer only runs as it should if the setting isn’t for the deep water load. It also doesn’t wash blankets without resetting to more time which means at times runs for hours because it gets unbalanced. There are constant errors which cause it to not complete a load of clothes. Very frustrating after spending a lot of money on a brand that should be a good quality. I would love to get something that works better but now that I’ve spent all this money I’m stuck with it! ... show more

  • DO NOT PURCHASE SAMSUNG APPLIANCES...SAMSUNG DOES NOT STAND BY PRODUCT
Buyer Beware! Samsung appliance quality is horrible - washer tub stopped working after 6 loads and our dishwasher is leaking after 1-month! Do not buy. SAMSUNG delivers THE WORST in CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE ever. Our IN-WARRANTY, NEWLY INSTALLED washer STOPPED WORKING AFTER 6 LOADS OF LAUNDRY, the tub stopped turning. No service in Montana, yet the entire line of Samsung products are sold in Montana. Samsung's remedy is an "accommodation" - a replacement or refund at their discretion. Samsung says no units in stock yet I can get the exactg same model unit at a local store within an hour. Samsung will only refund our purchase price and WILL NOT REFUND the $160 EXTENDED WARRANTY that was never used as the unit failed during the warranty period. The cost of the exact replacement is now $360 higher, I have to hold the unit for a month while Samsung processes our refund, they will not reimburse the $160 broken unit warranty, and Samsung will not pay the $199 for the new extended warranty. So, it will cost me $794 to replace my essentially new, in-warranty washing machine...that is IF I were to purchase Samsung. This is UNACCEPTABLE SAMSUNG. Customer care staff is aloof at best. I asked to speak to a manager, the only do call backs within 2-days. I missed their call and the message received "this is A manager" - no name, no phone or notification of a call back. So I had to make another request for a manager call back, wait another 48-hours hoping I will be waiting by my phone for their call. SAMSUNG DO THE RIGHT THING FOR YOUR CUSTOMER and include extended service at no cost and reimburse for the broken unit extended warranty cost. Samsung, are you there? ... show more

  • Fried on first cycle
We purchased this machine to run light duty loads of laundry at my work. After delivery I ran the Tub Clean cycle to test it. During the first cycle the machine smelled like smoke and stopped. It locked the tub door and gave the AC6 error. I called Samsung (I should have just called HomeDepot and sent it back) I went through tech support and they decided to send out a tech to fix it. Waiting for the tech appointment took us beyond the 48hour HomeDepot return window. The Tech informed me that the warranty was void because we are on commercial property. We understand commercial use voids the warranty (which also includes rental properties!). We don’t understand that the washing machine showed up defective and was not used to wash laundry, commercial or residential. Samsung has refuses to fix a product that showed up defective and have left us with an $800 bill to fix a $700 machine because it is on commercial property not from how it was used! I spent many hours on the phone with them and was told too bad. I will not buy another Samsung, and cannot recommend one to a friend. ... show more

  • Worst washing machine ever lol
I bought a house with all new Samsung appliances. The first thing to go in a couple months was the digital screen on the stove but I digress. This is no joke the biggest piece of crap I’ve ever owned. My water bill tripled (hyperbole but still) because of the Ur errors, which is similar to the Ub errors meaning that it is unbalanced. Ub happens when you wash a comforter. Ur means the same thing? according to google, why have multiple error codes for the same thing. Point being, buy a Samsung TV, skip their appliances. I still have to hit my ice maker with a hair dryer literally once a month to defrost it. Stainless steel appliances look cool until they break on the first day. ... show more

  • Hate this pos!
This is now the second washing machine. My old house had the same one. Forget trying to wash even the smallest (maybe 3 sweaters or pairs of jeans at a time) loads without an error message and it constantly re-rinsing and draining again. The clothes are SOAKED. Even if you put the setting to SPIN ONLY.. it'll still refill the barrel with water. I swear this is the WORST machine I've ever had! Please don't waste your money. It's complete garbage. ... show more

  • Does not dry well
A normal load must be run twice through the normal setting to get the clothes dry, almost two hours. A Samsung repair person replaced all of the electrical but the problem persists. We either got a lemon or this model just isn't good--it definitely isn't energy efficient.
