The foregoing read and write speeds are based on tests conducted under controlled conditions. Actual speeds may vary depending upon card capacity. Stated performance was achieved by using PRO Ultimate microSD cards with Samsung readers. UHS Speed Class 3 designates a performance option designed to support 4K UHD video recording with enabled UHS host devices. UHS Video Speed Class 30 (V30), sustained video capture rate of 30MB/s, designates a performance option designed to support real-time video recording with UHS enabled host devices. See A2 performance is 4000 read IOPS, 2000 write IOPS. Host device compatibility may vary. Waterproof: withstand up to 72 hours in seawater. Temperature proof: operating temperatures of -13oF to 185oF; non-operating temperatures of -40oF to 185oF. Wearout: up to 10,000 swipes. XRay Proof: up to 100mGy, equal to airport X-ray machines. Samsung PRO Ultimate 128GB microSDXC UHS-I class 10 U3 A2 V30 TF2SD adapter 10yr limited warranty [made in Philippines] there are too many counterfeit solidstate storage devices in the retail supplychain & it's an ongoing problem, even on AMZ. i now verify all SSD-s before putting them into production. counterfeits report incorrect storage capacities to operating systems, always overstating what's physically available. i purchased four, identical, new, 128gb units from the AMZ Samsung Store. legitimate Samsung TF card retail packaging is 3-layers deep: 1) stiff, external cardboard sandwich carrier: 2) liquid resistant, soft plastic, inner blister liner, fused all around the edges of: 3} the innermost, clear, stiff/hard PET, clamshell carrier; housing the microSDXC drive + SDcard adapter. counterfeits are not likely to be so well packaged. i then verified the full 128gb drive capacity (= 128177930240 bytes RAW). TF card was not formatted, so i performed a linux-hosted r/w test to confirm 0 dead storage cells on the RAW/unformatted card. during that media test, with no filesystem overhead, i observed average r/w of ~180Mbs/~80Mbs. that's real word, not "benchtest," cell-by-cell performance. the retail packaging states peak r/w at 200Mbs/130Mbs, but those numbers are theoretical. these cards are more than fast enough for my intended use (continuous, 24x365, 4kUHD in-cam security recording/monitoring). my security cams recognized these cards, formatted them as ext4 and record/playback 4kUHD @30fps to/from them w/o any glitches. the only thing that remains to be seen is whether or not these will give me 10 years of service. my fingers are crossed for that. ... show more
