Ok, I've read the reviews for this watch charger and I will try to help resolve unanswered questions about compatibility and authenticity. Ok, first thing is yes, this is compatible with the Samsung Watch8, as that's what I have and it charges just as quickly as the OEM charger I received with my watch. From 42% to 82% in about 20 minutes. Next, there are some reviews that question the authenticity of this charger. Does it have the Samsung name blatantly stamped on the top/botton/sides of the charging pad. No. However, that doesn't mean that it's not a genuine OEM Samsung product. It appears that Samsung is following Apple's design of imprinting in very small and inconspicuous labeling directly onto the cable. Close inspection with a magnifying glass reveals (reading from USB-C towards charging pad) the following: Model # Samsung Voltage & Amp rating Made in Vietnam FCC ID some other number Serial Number So, from what I can see, this appears to be a genuine Samsung OEM charger at a great price. ... show more

This is a Samsung OEM galaxy watch 5 charger model; compared with the more expensive newer EP-OL900BBEGUJ watch 7 model; they both have the same 10 watt charge capacity; except this older model is cheaper, they are both fast charging. I see no major difference, maybe the newer model prevents heat built up, but all you have to do is in settings choose to optimize charging to 90% to prolong battery life. ... show more

When I saw that these were the OEM Samsung watch charging pucks in "used like new condition" at a considerable discount compared to purchasing them full price, I figured I had nothing to lose. I had just purchased and returned some third party slow charging pucks. The OEM pucks were roughly $12 versus $7 for the very slow charging third party pucks. Couldn't be happier. Worth it! Spending a little bit more is worth it for this. Ive had/used 3rd party samsung chargers in the past and yes they charge but not nearly as fast nor does my watch keep that charge. Super fast charging and prolong battery life!

    • Happy with the purchase
It looks identical to the original charger that came with my watch, except for the fact that the cable is an inch or so shorter (about the diameter of the charging magnet). It's negligible. I tested and compared the original with this product, and the remaining time for fully charging each came back precisely the same. I don't know if that proves it is genuine, however. I've only used this product once, but it works just like a genuine Samsung watch charger. There are cheaper ones out there, but I am happy that I picked this one.
