This camera is far better than previous models because it has upgraded camera perfectly to be a high-quality one, pretty the same to its flagship S26 ultra that’s why I decided to change to this phone. I think Samsung is the leader in foldable phone right now. About the battery, if you use Samsung charger, it takes way faster to charge the phone to 100%, I mean way faster than Apple. And the battery can last through the whole day. I used my phone a lot in the day, at the end of the day my phone still at 40% battery. The display and sound are excellent too. The displays both front and inside are very bright even under the sunlight. Overall, I love using this phone and I feel ecstatic to buy this phone. This is the best phone I've ever used. I love how thin it is and it's a slim phone when closed and can open to a tablet when needed. Paired mine with a Rokform case and it's perfect. This is my first foldable and don't think I'll be going back to a traditional phone slab. Little pricey but from what you get I think its worth the bundle you get in one form factor. ... show more

Good unit albeit an expensive one. If this is the first purchase of a foldable android that has the normal dimensions of a mainstream bar type cell phone, this Samsung is quite good, bright screen, easier to open, crease in the middle is minimal, screen is not highly reflective, good battery, powerful unit. I own a Fold 7 and although the Fold 8 Ultra is better in the areas aforementioned, it is not so much better that one needs to spend over $2K on a replacement a year later. These devices still need babysitting because they are highly subject to damage form dust and water which compromises durability. However, if money is not an issue this device is a prime device in its class in this country. I am not going to cover the technical specifications because most buyers are hardly likely to utilize the device beyond it's primary functions and those are the ones most obvious that I have mentioned. If I did not own the Fold 7, I would probably have kept the unit but I returned the 8, not because it was not a great and attractive device but because it was not a $1000 better than the device I have and the trade in value of my less than 1 year old device was 50% depreciation which was unreasonable. The Fold 8 Ultra is a nice device but I am not sure that it is really worth the cost...Amazon's offering is outstanding with the gift card so if the offer is still available and you really want the device the Amazon offer is WAYYY better than Samsung's which is really them upselling another device simultaneously. Good luck if you decide you have the disposable income to spend it on this device. Not 5 stars on the rating because of the cost...one other thing...there is still a crease in the middle of the unfolded screen just in case you are wondering. ... show more

The phone has exceeded my expectations and has been nothing but a treat, I've been using it everyday non stop, the crease is as good as the oppo find n6 as well as processing power. The camera quality isn't a major upgrade for me as I cam from the S-- Ultra series but the outcomes of the pics I've took so far are more than exceptional, especially with one ui 9 and the enhanced AI features and capabilities. I would definitely recommend this phone, I am a little sad about no pen support but after a few days of use for work and personal, the pen didn't become something I would have required, the 8 inch inner display is enough. ... show more

Coming from an IPhone 16 this phone is great. The Ultra when folded is just like any regular phone but when unfolded is so much nicer for browsing content and multitasking. I mainly went for the Ultra because of the speakers, camera quality, and multitasking use. Everything on Samsung OneUI is super adjustable and convenient to adjust to my preferences or use cases.
