Reading other reviews has me writing this one because I almost didn't buy the phone. Yes the phone came with At & t apps etc. on it but as soon as I set up my Verizon account it deleted the At&t started up and now it starts up with Verizon and all the Verizon apps. Fantastic - in near perfect condition. Battery is like new. Absolutely thrilled with this phone coming from the fold 5. It's like the difference between a brick and your phone. The 5 was a tank, not really a brick, but Samsung managed to make this the same size as your phone you use now... Except this folds! It's 😍... But make sure the first thing you install is fold counter. Not because of any limit or flaw, but it's nice to keep track of how many times you've opened it since new. The crease is barely visible, and even my friends that's six months old at this point looks fine. I do have a guilty pleasure of running my finger over the crease to feel this amazing peice of tech! Anyway, yea, get this. Maybe the newer ones will have nicer processors or something, but they'll be a *lot* more expensive by this summer at the rate of things... ... show more

Don't buy a renewed "unlocked" phone. On mine, they apparently patched the Android OS to bypass the carrier lock on the physical SIM and left the eSIM carrier locked to US Cellular. Of course it was 6 months before I tried to add an eSIM for an international data plan, so I was way beyond the return window or even the Amazon AtoZ guarantee. No esim would work in Europe (I tried several) and then tried again when back in the US. NO ESIM would work. Then after the latest stable android release for Z Fold 7 and One UI 8.5 the physical SIM card was also network locked. US Cellular support will only issue a legitimate network unlock if the original account owner requests it. I spent several hours with USC support and they basically told me that the legitimate Android update had nullified whatever original hack had been applied to work-around the carrier lock. BUYER BEWARE! Test out both SIMs and return it if it isn't really unlocked or if it won't update to the latest Android release. ... show more

I think I will love this phone when it's all set up. It's so nice to have the larger screen for my vision, but then be able to fold it and it not be bulky. This was an Amazon renewed phone. It was advertised as "very good condition." I am not sure about the guidelines for the rating, but I would call it "good condition," there's a significant scratch in the upper right corner of the front screen along with other less significant cratches, and the phone enclosure is pretty beat up. I am VERY impressed with the physical condition of the phone. It appears to be factory new but is sold as "Reconditioned" and rated in "Excellent Condition" by Amazon. I made sure i choose a "Amazon Refurbished" phone with a 90 day return policy and so far no problems at all. I saved hundreds of dollars buying this phone versus a new Z-Fold 7 and ended up with a phone that is just as good as a new one! Amazon really did a good refurb on this phone. I've wanted to get the Z-Fold 7 since it came out because my Z-Fold 4 felt as heavy as a brick and twice as thick as the new phone - not really pocket size. So I waited for the Z-Fold 7 prices to come down and I'm glad I did! The new Z-Fold 8 will be out shortly but this phone was a huge upgrade for me in almost every aspect so I'll be good for another 2-3 years hopefully. The phone arrived with a dead battery but charged right up and came with AT&T starting screen. After registering the phone with T-Mobile and updating it (several updates) the phone is now branded T-Mobile on the startup screen. I did use the internal ESIM and may change it over to a regular sim card at some future time. I used Smart Switch already installed in both phones and a USB cable between them to flawlessly transfer/clone the new phone. Over all I couldn't be happier. ... show more

I was cautious on the renewed version of the z fold 7, but holy smokes fully functioning fold phone. Unlocked it is. It will look like a locked but I was able to check with Mint and they confirmed it's a unlocked phone. Everything the reviewers said about the phone is absolutely true.
