I've been a lifelong Samsung user. I've had their Galaxy Note, s2, s8, fold3 and now switched to the Flip 7. I loved the Fold3 but screen ended up not opening all the way and felt a bit heavy in the pockets. I needed something small and light. Amazon had a $200 gift card deal for flip 7 pre-orders, so that looked good to me. Once I got it, it's pretty good. Feels premium. The battery life is good. Durability is good so far. Time will tell if it holds up better than my fold3. I like using the smaller screen for games and browsing the web. It's also an easier way for me to view and change what I'm listening to rather than opening up the phone. Camera is good too. People get impressed when they see themselves on the selfie screen. I can't wait for the next version to make the outer screen like a regular smart phone instead of it currently relying on apps and widgets to be installed using big screen. Next version should also make the mini screen text friendly. I can send messages using it but it takes up the majority of the screen. Can't really see replies. One downside is that the connection drops. My mobile data symbol sometimes show a circle ⭕ with a line though it even when I'm in a good service area. Doesn't happen often though which is good. One of the functions I like is when I'm watching a YouTube video on the small screen, the volume up and down button get swapped, and works like it was intended. Volume down on big screen would be volume up when it's closed. I love that they thought of that. In the end, it's a great value for anyone looking for a minimal phone.

This is the best phone I've ever owned (except one i had in the early oughts that docked into a folding keyboard, why don't they make those anymore?) A Bluetooth keyboard would work for this phone since I bought a phone case with a stand! I love reading in full display with bigger font. This phone eliminates the need for a kindle. Also, streaming is greatly enhanced. The phone folding into the size of most other phones or androids. It doesn't feel any heavier to me than my prior phones and is very thin when folded. I highly recommend it.

Switched from iOS to android with this purchase and I am pleased! Easy to connect with an eSim. My favorite part of this phone is the cover screen! Unlock it with a code or fingerprint; easy as 123. You can add so many apps and use the cover for pretty much everything. Camera quality is A1! Love taking selfies with the phone closed, and the "raise your hand" feature makes it easy to take photos. Also, I love the coral color! It's a slim feel without the case, but a bit bulky with a protector. I would rather keep my phone safe so case it is for me. Overall: cute, convenient, fast and fun!

I am not very bright with new technology. This phone is a lifesaver. It is so intuitive. The interface is ready to use, it's tough, and the battery lasts way longer than the fold 6 battery. I battery had a problem with the folding of the ohone itself. It looks fragile, but it's really tough. I recommend this phone to everyone.

I'd say this was really close to 5 stars, but I took one off for a few things: 1). Charging speed is really not great. 2 1/2 hours to fully charge. My iPhone 16 Pro was far faster. The big thing is to make sure you use a 25W charging block. Just sticking it into any ol' charging block will end up much longer, most likely. Yesterday, I was charging at 15W using a charging block with like 8 USB ports. I didn't realize that 4 of those ports charge at only 5W. Two others at 12 or 15W. And two at 20W. Going from 12/15W to 20W chopped 30 minutes off the charge time, which was 1 1/2 hours, at that point. The phone will only charge up to 25W. Other phones are 45 on up. 2) Speakers kinda suck. My iPhone 16 Pro was much better, and it wasn't great. But... it's not that big a deal. I'm not listening to anything that important on my phone. 3). Getting used to an Android phone again, after 6 years of an iPhone, (had Android since Android phones first came out), is it a bit of doing, but not that bad. 4). The crease is not completely gone, but apparently much better than the Fold 6. I'd like to see it gone completely, bu... it's really not an issue in real world use. You don't really see it until turn the phone and catch some glare. 4). I hate that I lose the ability to send text messages from my Mac's iMessage app. This is truly the only REAL negative. The other 4 above are minor. But... I can use a free bit of software called Blue Bubble to allow me to do this. I haven't set it up, yet, but... with working there's nothing to not recommend this awesome piece of tech. Truly super cool.
