  • A True Engineering Marvel – Refined, Fast, and Surprisingly Practical
I’ve been using the Galaxy Z Fold 6 since launch, and I have to say—this is the first foldable phone that truly feels like it’s ready for the mainstream. Samsung has taken years of iteration and packed it into a device that’s both futuristic and remarkably polished. As someone who works in IT and uses my phone for a mix of productivity, media, and multitasking, this device checks almost every box. Build Quality & Design: The hardware is phenomenal. Samsung has made the Fold 6 thinner, lighter, and more balanced in-hand than any previous generation. The hinge feels tight and precise with zero wobble. Opening and closing the device is satisfying, and it now folds completely flat—finally. You can tell Samsung has refined the materials here. The outer display is more usable with a better aspect ratio (finally less narrow), and the inner display crease is less noticeable, both visually and to the touch. Displays: The screens are bright, vibrant, and sharp, as expected from Samsung. The outer 6.3" AMOLED display runs at 120Hz and feels just like a flagship phone in its own right. The 7.6" main display is a productivity dream—fluid, colorful, and great for multitasking, reading, and media. Watching videos or working on documents in landscape mode feels like using a small tablet. It supports S Pen (sold separately), and for note-taking or light sketching, it works flawlessly. Performance: Powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy and 12GB of RAM, this thing flies. App launches are instant, multitasking is seamless, and heavy tasks like photo editing or running DeX mode work without hiccups. Thermals are well-managed; even under load, the phone gets warm but never uncomfortably hot. Storage speeds are also top-tier (UFS 4.0), and everything feels incredibly responsive. Software & AI Features: One UI 6.1.1 with Android 14 is tuned nicely for the foldable form factor. Multi-window support is excellent, drag-and-drop between apps is intuitive, and task continuity (switching between outer and inner screens) is smooth. Samsung’s AI features like Note Assist, Transcript Summarize, and Interpreter are genuinely useful, especially for professionals. I wasn’t expecting to rely on these as much as I do, but they’re integrated well and don’t feel gimmicky. Cameras: Camera hardware isn’t dramatically changed from the S24 Ultra, but the results are consistent and high quality. The 50MP main shooter delivers excellent dynamic range and detail, even in challenging lighting. The 3x telephoto and 12MP ultrawide are solid, and the processing handles noise well. While it’s not trying to compete with DSLR-level performance, it’s more than enough for everyday use, and video quality (4K60) is flagship-grade. Battery Life: Battery life has been better than expected. With a 4,400mAh battery, I regularly get through a full day with 6–7 hours of screen-on time, even with a mix of video, messaging, and multitasking on the main display. Fast charging (wired and wireless) is reliable and reasonably quick. It's not an all-weekend battery, but for such a powerful, dual-screen device, it's excellent. Final Verdict: Samsung finally nailed it with the Fold 6. This isn’t just a tech demo anymore—it’s a fully capable flagship that offers real utility. Whether you're a power user, productivity geek, or just someone who wants cutting-edge hardware, this phone delivers. Yes, it’s expensive, and it’s not for everyone, but if you can take advantage of the screen real estate and multitasking features, it’s worth every penny. No regrets here. This is the future of smartphones—and it’s already in my pocket. ... show more

  • For those ALREADY used to Samsung's "Note/Galaxy" series of Phones, this is the next logical upgrade
Color: Navy Style: 512GB Pattern Name: Phone Only
After years of our family using a variety of Android phones (I have 2 front pockets so I also carried an iPhone), we settled down on the Samsung Note series for a few generations. I attempted to upgrade my wife to another brand folding "Phablet" (by all accounts it is best-of-breed) but she was too used to the Samsung Android implementation and found the changes a painful struggle to attempt to adapt to. So I took the non-Samsung folder and upgraded her to the Z Fold 6. She is now "a happy camper", which, of course, makes me a happy camper. The Z Fold 6 works reliably and largely consistent with past Samsung phones, but it isn't cheap nor necessarily best in class (why do you think I first started with a different folding screen phone? Because there are technically better ones out there). - There are Pros and Cons of other folding screen phones, but it all depends on what you are used to and if your technical background prepares you for major changes you'll face when switching platforms. For a lot of people, once they've made the time commitment to go thru the learning curve to become functional the often aren't amenable to making a new time investment to switch, so they stay with the platform they are use to. - I've lived in Tech from mainframe days and across most every conceivable new Tech since, so for me exploring/learning new Tech is "business as usual" - an extension of many of my past jobs (I've worked for a number of manufactures in new product design and first use roll-out and to discuss details with others meant they needed to execute a NDA). But for most others (MOST - not all), I expect they want what takes the least effort. When people ask me "what should I get?" unless they have demonstrable technical ability I'll usual recommend "what do your friend have - unless you want to be alone on an Island, you'd best stay with the flock so you have others to ask when you need help". ... show more

  • In Love
It came quicker than expected. It was in perfect condition, exactly like what was described. It was brand new, the color is beautiful, it works great. It had no cracks, anything. It has very good battery. It's a pretty good battery life. The pictures are beautiful for me. It's easy to use. As I wanted something smaller, they can fit in my pocket, and I love it in tablet mode. My favorite game is gorgeous. It takes gorgeous pictures. The sound quality is amazing. I had a Samsung A70, and as much as I loved it. I notice now because of this phone that the sound was lower on there. Then it is on here. This is a great phone. The buyer gave me exactly what was described. I love the rose gold and I got 512 GB. And that's exactly what came on the phone I know how to check the memory? I'm very tech-savvy. And it has exactly the amount of gigabytes of memory that was described, so you're not getting dipped out when you pay for that amount of gigabytes, I do recommend getting cases that protect the hinge, and maybe a couple of screen protectors. But it's a sturdy phone. It's not as thick and Chunky as everybody was making, it seem to me is perfect. Um, the screen on the closed side when you close. It it's small Your keyboard is small, but thanks to me already having a phone that was smaller than this, the blue pro. What's smaller than this, especially the keyboard I'm so used to I barely even notice it. Videos for a great I love how I can multi-task. I can have 2 windows open at 1 time side by side or top and bottom. The S Pen works on the inside tablet mode and some work on the outside. It just depends. I know a lot of people are saying that the S Pen doesn't work on the outside. When the front screen went is closed, but I found some of the cases that I bought, that have S Pen that come when it do work. On the front screen, so I don't know, that's a little touching goal just depends like I said, it's a beautiful phone. He plays games. Great, you face video's great. This sound is great, it does have dual SIM. My service is great because of this phone. There's no problem sending videos and other stuff, and I've just touched the iceberg of using his following. When I get more time off and they're not so tired. I will explore even more and review. It does come with the SIM trajector a power cable. You have to have your own box, which is no problem. Yeah, Samsung box will work. I do miss the days when they came with headphones. But singers are already hit our own pair of Bluetooth headphones that does not take away from the Sound itself. I totally recommend this, and my twin is getting one as well. So like I said, it's a beautiful phone. This is a great deal for a great price for the amount of gigabytes that is on this phone ... show more

  • First time Full-size Foldable owner! First time Full-size Foldable owner!
I originally got a Zflip 5 and liked the compactness and versatility, hence I decided to give the fold a try! Pros: - the beautiful, large screen is perfect for multi-tasking, for example: texting somebody about a vacation destination and taking quick screenshots and sending it right to them on the other side of your screen - The external cameras are an amazing improvement from last year, likely because Samsung tuned their auto-ai-whatever image processing. - the foldable screen makes it it's own stand! YouTube even has a built in mode that turns the bottom half into the video controls! - The springs don't drag it open or close like my flip, so I can stand it at almost any angle! - materials make it feel premium! Samsung put a lot of effort into perfecting the foldable feeeling of quality. I also own an S24 ultra and they feel almost identical in terms of trust I have in the physical design and materials. Extremely well machined! - using the outside screen doesn't feel terrible and cramped as I had expected. It's a lot like when I got my flip and thought it was weirdly tall, but I got used to it. - ecosystem integration is finally to a point I can recommend people get everything Samsung, like the watch, ring, and tablets! Copy and paste works, if I need to open a message on my phone from my watch, I can immediately just open my phone, copy an OTP, etc. Ehhh: - Battery life is middling, it will last you all day, BUT with low-medium use. I am in a job where I use it around 4 hours a day and it struggles to be at even 20% at the end of my day. - Samsung bloatware is Mostly removable, I miss my pixel phones with completely uninstallable to no bloatware. I hate that we have non-uninstallabke bloatware like AR camera or Bixby (Google assistant FTW) Cons: - app support is getting closer to being more widespread but still not where it needs to be, some apps have issues with both the external and internal display ratios, whether it be too skinny to display things, or too wide to display things properly. - front/internal camera is terrible, it is taking a picture through the screen, but it is simply unacceptably bad - Brightness of the screen is not enough for outdoor use. I went to a local restaurant today and noticed I could barely see the screen with extra brightness enabled in overcast weather. Overall 8.5/10 TL:DR Physical design is impeccable, however software support and battery life hold it back from being what Samsung envisions: the perfect compact phone. 8.5/10 ... show more

  • Good phone but quite pricey
Color: Silver Style: 512GB Pattern Name: Phone Only
The Galaxy Fold 6 is a nice phone overall. It's a pricey phone, it costs about the same as a mid-range laptop. For that money I think most people would expect a lot. This phone delivers well, but frankly it doesn't offer much above and beyond the Galaxy Fold 5. At a discount, the Fold 5 is probably a better value, but if priced the same I would go with the Fold 6. Pros: - Comes with cool features like Circle to Search, Handsfree Live Interpreter, and enhanced AI Photo Edits, which are absent in the Fold 5. - Has a nice large screen when folded out. - The form factor when unfolded allows you to hold it with one hand (isn't too wide) - Comes with a fast Qualcomm chip as expected from a flagship phone. Cons: - I find the Samsung One UI is bloated and confusing, I wish they would stick with stock Android like with the Pixel. - The cost is quite hefty. Unless you really need a larger screen for work, it's not worth the extra cost (you don't get a noticeably bigger video, the aspect ratio of most videos will result in about the same size as a standard non-folding flagship phone). - The crease on the folding screen has a history of forming cracks over time as you fold/unfold (all my past Fold phones developed them). - The folded form factor isn't very useful, the front screen is too narrow to be useful for anything other than making a phone call. If you are looking for a premium folding phone, I would strongly recommend you take a look at the Pixel Fold 9 (or Fold 10 once it comes out). The Pixel solves some of the concerns above, where the software/UI is without the extra bloat, and the folded form factor is actually the same as a regular phone which makes it useful even in folded form. ... show more

  • Great Upgrade, but Front Screen Still Narrow
Color: Silver Style: 256GB Pattern Name: Phone Only
The phone arrived quickly, and I’ve been using it for a few months now. Experienced zero issues, everything works perfectly. I upgraded from a Fold 4, which had trouble opening fully, and the Fold 6 has been a huge improvement in both performance and reliability. That said, the claim that the front screen is "slightly larger" feels like marketing fluff. If there’s a difference, it’s so minimal it’s practically unnoticeable. The cover screen is still very narrow, which might be a dealbreaker for some, but that’s just part of the Fold’s design. Overall, I’m really happy with the phone, it’s fast, well-built, and a big step up from my previous device. ... show more

I have not had any issues with the functioning of the phone or any of the apps i use. I know it has a high price tag, but for me worth it. the quality of the play on videos and reading can't be beat for it's size (comparing it to a pad). the battery seems to work well and I haven't felt that it dies quickly. ... show more
