Buying refurbished is often a gamble, especially with foldables, but this experience was a massive surprise. The device arrived in virtually brand-new condition and was fully factory unlocked right out of the box. There are absolutely no scratches on the hinge, no marks on the screens, and no dead pixels. The folding mechanism feels tight, snappy, and responsive. Note on arrival: My unit arrived with a completely dead battery, so don't be alarmed if it doesn't turn on right away—it just needs a good charge! If you’ve been eyeing the Fold6 but couldn’t justify the MSRP, going refurbished is a no-brainer if you find a unit this clean. It is the ultimate productivity and gaming powerhouse. A few things to watch out for: Packaging: It arrived in a plain box rather than the original Samsung retail packaging. It also had very little protection inside; it was essentially loose in the box at the mercy of the delivery driver. Luckily, it survived the trip! Software Warning: If your unit arrives with One UI 7 or lower I highly recommend staying there. My battery life was incredible initially, but it auto-updated to One UI 8 and the performance has noticeably tanked. When I got this phone the screen went out in an hour. At first, within the first 30 minutes it worked great. It only had 14% charge on it so I put i on the charger. 30mins later I open the phone for the first time and add my information. About three minutes later the whole screen blinked and the went completely black. So disappointed with Amazon. They could at least refund my money. Even though its refurbished it only worked for an hour and a few minutes. I still wanted the Fold6 so I sent for the screen to be fixed. It cost the same as the phone almost. $753.65. Can't believe Amazon did me like that and to there convenience they'll say there's nothing they can do. Never fails. It would let me have the option to fo a refund or return which is why I sent it to be fixed. I had no choice. Thanks Amazon. ... show more

The phone casing has only minor scuffs so looks very good and appears nearly new; screens are intact without any visible scuffs or scratches. Everything appears to be working well. This device is quite a powerhouse - such computing power in the palm of your hand! This was the stuff of science fiction when I was a child watching Star Trek. It is lightweight and I love being able to open to a larger screen, like a mini tablet. Camera appears to work well, though I need to make some adjustments to color due to greens looking blue, but that has been an issue with my previous smartphone camera. I look forward to learning the more advanced features. While trying to set up on my xfinity mobile account, a message appeared saying it was locked to a carrier. Settings didn't show any lock, so went to the xfinity store where the tech was able to complete setup. I've recently bought the Silver version of one of these Renewed Z Fold 6 devices, and so far it's been great! I don't see any signs of it being used; it came practically in new condition. Though, looking at the system dump, there are about 100 battery cycles on it. It seems that this device may not have been used very much, as it shipped to me with one UI 6.1.1, which was released last September, or almost a year ago as of writing this. The phone was first turned on in late July of last year as well, so it's likely that the original owner only kept this for a few months. It came in a generic white box with an aftermarket USB-C to USB-C cable. Though I would have preferred the original retail box and accessories, the price reduction and quality I'm getting it for make it well worth it. Both the cover and inner screen look pristine, with no visible scratches or dents. Every component in the device seems to work as well when testing the Samsung Members diagnostics feature. Though one thing that does bother me a little is that the power or fingerprint button is slightly loose and wiggles a little. Could has been from a repair or maybe a manufacturing defect, hard to know. Though it works fine. The fear of owning these devices is the inner screen failing, so I'd highly recommend also getting one of the Asurion Protection plans for this device. So far, I've personally had a good experience with my product, but when you are buying a renewed device, it's a play in the lottery; you may get a better deal than me, or not. This arrived in excellent condition and has been working perfectly ever since. Battery life is nice and long and no scratches or dents. The price was excellent at $650 vs. $1899 for a new Z-Fold 6. This vender also gave me a higher trade-in price of $150 for my old Z-Fold 4 than Verizon or Best Buy was going to give me. Note that this is an unlocked phone and will not arrive with branded bloatware. This also means certain carrier apps (live visual voicemail) will not work. All in all, I am thrilled with my purchased and substantially saved over the purchase of a new Z-Fold. ... show more
