I ended up getting a replacement and thought they were pretty helpful until that one failed too. Phone one: It arrived with the previous owner's crust in all the crevices and in the camera. The software was bricked and had not been verified. Phone two: It arrived looking pretty nice. It did not open all the way (dirty hinges). The "factory installed" screen protector started bubbling within 24 hours. When the hinge started moving more, the screen protector would fight against it. After 4 days, the backlight started disconnecting unless the hinge was flexed just right and this just got worse. The phone was in a case and never dropped. I called and talked to the support and got throw thru the ringer after being told I could get a replacement. They want a 50% restocking fee for something that probably shouldn't be happening if they "renewed" the device correctly. ... show more

I’ve not bought a “new” phone from branded retailer in years. Its a bad investment for me. I work in construction and seem to get three to four years out of a phone, unless I leave it on the back of my truck cover and drive off to then find my Bluetooth connection abruptly severed. That Note 3 wasn't repairable. That phone was about 8 months old. Insurance coverage after deductible was very close to ½ the cost of the replacement, and It was for the same model, not the new release. So after a few spreadsheets and carrier evaluations. I found myself in prepaid phone coverage and buying a phone outright. It just adds up in savings! I do this with all my family members and their phone needs. Amazon has been great. I can trust the condition and specs provided here and the resellers have been courteous and accurate. The best seller I’ve had to date is with a Colorado company named RE-Cell. Re-Cell shipped super fast and was super pleasant to communicate with. I bought a Fold 4 at a great price and it showed up two days later exactly as described. Looked brand new. I charged it up and started the transfer of information over to it. Once out of “dark” mode, a setting I like, I noticed a perfect round black dot the size of a #2 pencil center screen where the thumb reader would be. Looked like it was supposed to be there. Googled it up to verify, and I didn’t see it anywhere on images or adverts. I called the number Re-Cell offered in packing materials and a very nice person answered and offered two solutions to the problem. Full refund and ship it back, or exchange it and they would mail the new one out to me as soon as the post verified the “dotted” unit was dropped off and had a verified shipping number at USPS. I shipped it the same day. I received the replacement unit in perfect order and on time. Re-Cell has a great process, fantastic people, and prices. I’ve purchased two S22 ultras and one Z Fold 4 this year. I’ll look for them again as my go to source for phones! ... show more

I was a little Larry about buying a Samsung note 4., But after having it, it's an amazing product, I bought it pre owned certified, or if you wanna call it renewed., the company I purchased from first class, it actually showed up two days early, and packaged perfectly without the original box. This refurbished phone is about great for six months (or about 90 days after your warranty expires). Then you get things like a motherboard failure. Cost to repair is about $550....or about what this phone cost six months ago. Save your money and time and don't buy this.

    • Calling function failed (Too good to be true?)
I'll update this review as I get support from Re-Cell customer service (the refurbisher). Edit1: They've agreed to send a replacement phone so that's already pretty good. Waiting on that. The customer service side of things was pretty good. 01/13/2024 update: The new phone just doesn't work. It has the issue where any folding operation shuts off the phone and it can only be restarted with usb power. (Some sources say this is a flex cable issue). I won't use this service again. You really can't win by trying to save money sometimes. This phone worked incredibly for the first three weeks. Honestly a dream. However, About three weeks in the phone became unable to call. I've spent so much time contacting samsung support, (Who said it wasn't the phone), Tmobile support (who said it wasn't an issue with Tmobile) and Amazon support who offered me a replace/refund which is what I'm trying right now. I really really wanted this to work cause the price is a dream come true but maybe it's just too good to be true? ... show more

Got the phone from the seller with overnight shipping, the phone had a hair line scratch on the back and very little wear around the inside edge (probably because of a case ) the wear and the scratch especially the scratch was small and you really had to look for it , as far as the phone its been working great. ... show more
