    • Calling function failed (Too good to be true?)
I'll update this review as I get support from Re-Cell customer service (the refurbisher). Edit1: They've agreed to send a replacement phone so that's already pretty good. Waiting on that. The customer service side of things was pretty good. 01/13/2024 update: The new phone just doesn't work. It has the issue where any folding operation shuts off the phone and it can only be restarted with usb power. (Some sources say this is a flex cable issue). I won't use this service again. You really can't win by trying to save money sometimes. This phone worked incredibly for the first three weeks. Honestly a dream. However, About three weeks in the phone became unable to call. I've spent so much time contacting samsung support, (Who said it wasn't the phone), Tmobile support (who said it wasn't an issue with Tmobile) and Amazon support who offered me a replace/refund which is what I'm trying right now. I really really wanted this to work cause the price is a dream come true but maybe it's just too good to be true? ... show more

I’ve not bought a “new” phone from branded retailer in years. Its a bad investment for me. I work in construction and seem to get three to four years out of a phone, unless I leave it on the back of my truck cover and drive off to then find my Bluetooth connection abruptly severed. That Note 3 wasn't repairable. That phone was about 8 months old. Insurance coverage after deductible was very close to ½ the cost of the replacement, and It was for the same model, not the new release. So after a few spreadsheets and carrier evaluations. I found myself in prepaid phone coverage and buying a phone outright. It just adds up in savings! I do this with all my family members and their phone needs. Amazon has been great. I can trust the condition and specs provided here and the resellers have been courteous and accurate. The best seller I’ve had to date is with a Colorado company named RE-Cell. Re-Cell shipped super fast and was super pleasant to communicate with. I bought a Fold 4 at a great price and it showed up two days later exactly as described. Looked brand new. I charged it up and started the transfer of information over to it. Once out of “dark” mode, a setting I like, I noticed a perfect round black dot the size of a #2 pencil center screen where the thumb reader would be. Looked like it was supposed to be there. Googled it up to verify, and I didn’t see it anywhere on images or adverts. I called the number Re-Cell offered in packing materials and a very nice person answered and offered two solutions to the problem. Full refund and ship it back, or exchange it and they would mail the new one out to me as soon as the post verified the “dotted” unit was dropped off and had a verified shipping number at USPS. I shipped it the same day. I received the replacement unit in perfect order and on time. Re-Cell has a great process, fantastic people, and prices. I’ve purchased two S22 ultras and one Z Fold 4 this year. I’ll look for them again as my go to source for phones! ... show more

Got the phone from the seller with overnight shipping, the phone had a hair line scratch on the back and very little wear around the inside edge (probably because of a case ) the wear and the scratch especially the scratch was small and you really had to look for it , as far as the phone its been working great. ... show more

    • Stoped working after 9 month, would not open more than 45 degree
I dont know if the matter is related to smasung zfold by itself, or if it was refurbished for this reason and now im unable to open it more then 45 degree, the small screen was not much sensitive but i didnt return it cause i was using the big screen, but now im not able to use the phone at all, i tried to contact the seller, but it was out of 3 month warranty, so you wanna buy this phone for fews months , then go ahead ... show more

Cons - Beware, they advertise the phone as "unlocked," but when I received mine, it was still locked to the AT&T carrier. Fortunately, I was able to request a carrier unlock from their website and had support to unlock it within the hour. Pros - Phone was in great shape. The price was pretty dang good too! I've been using this phone for a few months now. It says refurbished, but it looked brand new when I first got it. I haven't found a scratch anywhere. So far it's working fine, and I'm impressed with the large flip-out screen. It looks like a mini tablet.
