I’m personally sick of large phones, and since finding out about the Flip 5, I felt like it’s the phone for me. I researched the phone for weeks, and was convinced that it’s my ideal phone. Fast forward 6 months later, and I bought it for my wife after showing her some phones since she needed a new one (iPhone XR is damaged like crazy). When it came in, I charged it, gave it to her, told her to set it up, and have fun. After a day of setting it up, she told me she wasn’t gonna use it until she got a case. In that time, I started to play with it; testing the front screen the way I planned on using it. I was right, it is my ideal phone. For just watching a quick video, sending a quick text, scrolling the web while on the crapper, and switching to the next song, the phone closed is all I need. After playing with it for 2 days, my iPhone 12 Mini is too damn big. If you’re into gaming, this phone will play anything. If you’re into emulation, it will play EVERYTHING upscaled. Couple this with the GameSir g8, and you have a beast of a gaming phone. Back to my wife. She’s been using it as her daily driver for around a month, and while she was hesitant at first cuz she loved the apple evo system, but after a few weeks and a Galaxy Watch 4 later, she is happy that she switched over. She loves that she can play Burnout Revenge (her favorite game) whenever/wherever. She loves the compact size, and uses a belt clip case like it’s 2005 all over again. Her only issue is the shit battery compared to her iPhone. When she’s working and not using it, it lasts her all day, but when she has downtime, it dies almost instantly. Excellent! I got an acceptable renewed/refurbished and I can barely tell it's been used! You have to really look for one scratch like 2 scuffs and a tiny dent other than that I don't even notice it, just like the Z flip 3 I bought from them. Not saying everyone will have the same experience but I'm sure the chances of you getting a bad phone are low. ... show more

This is my first flip phone, and I am very pleased with it. Although it does become slightly warm during intensive gaming, the overall experience has been positive. (Edit) After five months of usage, the phone continues to perform admirably. It is fast and reliable, and I have grown accustomed to its form factor. Despite accidentally dropping it once, resulting in a minor crack on the front screen, the phone remains fully functional and aesthetically pleasing. I know with a refurbished phone I should expect some dents and scratches. But I don't think it's acceptable to send me a phone with a broken screen, especially when I'm paying more for a phone in "excellant" condition. There is a wrinkle in the screen on the left side. It makes the screen look like it's peeling off the phone. It completely distorts everything in the middle of the screen. I should have taken a picture when the phone turns on, but the middle of the screen has darker/distorted colors because of it. I know it's not the fold because my gf has the same phone, so I'm able to compare. Packaging was abysmal. There is very little protection for the phone. There is just a thin layer of bubble wrap protecting it. There is nothing stopping it from being thrown around freely in the box. There should have at least been some packaging paper in the box, cushioning it and stopping it from moving around. Almost forgot to mention that the phone is covered in dents and scratches. This phone would make sense for acceptable quality or lower. Not really a good look and a complete waste of time. ... show more
