When I gave my spouse my Galaxy S7 and replaced it with a Moto e5 play, I was never happy with the Motorola. Just not a good phone. I decided to give a refurbished phone here on Amazon a try. I went with the S8 because I wanted a larger screen than the S7. This has been a great phone so far. Battery life is great, it is quick and responsive. I forgot how much I enjoyed a Samsung Galaxy TBH. The edge to edge screen is awesome, there is no real estate lost with bezels. The only complaint I have is the weird Bixby app, and there is no way to get rid of it or disable it. Some may like it, personally I don't need an Alexa or Siri or Bixby, I manage just fine on my own TYVM. Also, I saw many gripes about the placement of the fingerprint reader. It does not bother me at all, it works very well. If I do smudge the camera lens I will just wipe it off with a soft cloth or my shirt, no big deal. ... show more

There is a small scratch on the screen and multiple small scratches on the back camera. The charging cable does not have have a USB end it is connected to the charging block. Phone works great it is unlocked. No battery issues either.

Phone arrived quickly. It looks like new, but what I ordered said "renewed" whatever that means. It also said "for Verizon". Verizon is my carrier so that worked for me. Not sure if it would work with other carriers. It did not come with a SIM card. I used the one from my last phone
