Went from an S22 Ultra to S25 Ultra. Was not expecting a major difference. I was wrong. This was the best upgrade ever. The form factor of this phone over the S22 is huge. Finally rid of the rounded edge that was the downfall of my S22 to begin with (glass broke because of that vulnerability on the S22). Great camera features and much more intelligent design overall. The screen feels like it should with aspect ratio since the full area is usable now. The S-Pen is as always the first win that keeps me with Samsung. I won't have a phone without it now. Just be aware that this version is a little bit dumbed down from before. No bluetooth features. To be honest though, I really don't miss them since I never used them. I'm a bit disappointed in the protruding camera lenses. Standing alone, it makes the level feature of the phone useless. But really, all phones seem to be like that. And the case I am using restores the flat back area. A major factor also is the guaranteed updates. The S25 will be guaranteed for seven years. That could actually outlast the phone for most users. I'm not sure any other manufacturer matches that. Another major factor is the latest OneUI interface. Samsung has made huge improvements, to the point that I've stopped using a third party launcher. They have placed some of the customizations in a separate downloadable application. This might seem odd, but it does create a sensible divide between users that want simplicity vs those that love a heavily customized experience (like me!).

I went from a Google Pixel 4a to this Samsung S25. All I can say is WOW! It's basically the same form factor as the Pixel 4a and only .7 ounces heavier, but with a flagship processor (Snapdragon 8 Elite), double the RAM, and seven years of updates. I won't need to upgrade my phone for years. I likely would have bought a Pixel 10a, but it won't be released until Spring 26 (tired of waiting), and there's no guarantee that they will upgrade the terrible fingerprint reader the 9a has to an ultrasonic. The S25 has a good ultrasonic fingerprint reader. I was able to customize it to basically look and function like the Pixel, it was very easy to customize, and naturally, the S25 blows away the 4a. Just about everything is significantly better, performance, sound, camera, etc. It has it all, I highly recommend it. Note: Samsung has released UI8 and Android 16 for this phone, so it should be immediately available for update if it's automatically installed when setting it up. This is the most I've spent on a phone, I'm so glad I immediately put a case and screen protector. I got up in the middle of the night to take our new Jack Russell outside. The dog was squirming, and I dropped the phone (not the dog). Yikes! Thank goodness, the screen protector saved it. All's well.

This is my very first Samsung smartphone. I do have a S9 Tablet that I also enjoy using, but I was a LG loyalist until they shut down their phone department, and I have been searching for a new phone brand to stick with. I've had it for approximately a month now, and I am in love with this phone. It's super handy having face unlock, the screen is absolutely gorgeous, WAY better than my Pixel 7(which is the phone I had before this one). The brightness is very nice, I haven't felt the need to really adjust it since I got it, which I can't say the same for my others. The camera is super nice, I love being able to zoom in so much and the quality of the photos is amazing. The phones sound is also pretty good, which I think should be expected for a flagship phone of this price. I will say I got this phone on sale for just under $1k at the time, and I am quite happy with the value for this price.

Coming from the S22 ultra ...there's improvements in every category except 5000 mh battery, and the s pen. So if everything else matters more......I'd pick one up if you have the means. As for battery....it's the same, however it lasts all day with moderate YouTube and pubg . Lighter than the S22, and that lens rattle is gone from the camera. Not a camera person though. Ram management is giving me an extra 6 gig ram on this 12 platform. Super quick however, online speed is relative to where you are in conjunction to the satellites. Behind a building and shielded can make speeds appear slow.

Fanastic phone. Was on the fence for a while on whether to get this or a google 10 pro and thought I'd give the samsung a shot and so far have been SUPER happy with my purchase. Was a google user since the 3A and the switch to the samsung has been been a super clean transition. Like all phones, there were a few features that have taken me a bit to get used to, like where the power button is lol, but nothing to difficult over all. The camera was the biggest reason I wanted to try samsung and the telephoto lens options are superb. On extreme reach, it's rather obvious when the AI is dipping in and trying to assist with the details, but other than that the pics and video have been stellar. At first the battery drain had me a little nervous, but within a couple of days it settled in and I've yet to go below 30% after a reasonable days use. If you're on the fence like I was, take a chance, I don't think you will regret it!
