I bought this phone for my son after I bought mine months ago. I have been lucky with Amazon refurbished products and I thought it was a deal for what he got. Yes, my son does not need such a good phone being 17, however, as you know after a while phones do not receive updates anymore and I wanted something sturdy to last I know due to my experience with the same phone that I rather spend the time once that have to replace the phone several times in 2 years either because of the materials of the fact that they are no longer supported. We consumers do not have much to say with this last one. The phone is great works awesome, the photos are superb, and the basics; calls, text messages, etc. are very good to excellent in regard to quality. Will he use it to call me or contact me? I doubt it, but it gives me a piece of mind as a parent that I can reach him if I need to. ... show more

Didn't expect it to be in such good condition. No scratches, didn't seem like there was any wear and everything worked as it should. The phone is a s23, which I really like. It's a good size, pretty speedy, but the battery could be better. I do think maybe the battery I got is not new or OEM, and that is why it feels like it drains relatively fast. Games feel snappy, the screen looks amazing, and it preforms well in bright environments. The cameras are great, I like the ultrawide and the main camera is a stunner. I like how Samsung offers 4 years of major Android updates and 5 years security, and it receives support and major updates like it's bigger s24 and s25 brothers. Overall the phone is perfect for what I need it for, however I did wish the battery was larger on the occasional days you use it more, or if you're a heavy user I recommend the fan edition series, as it won't be as nice as the plain s series but a bigger battery and screen. ... show more

Haverly Store Review on S23 Phone purchase: 10/23/2024 (approximately): After purchasing an S23 from the seller in May 2024, five months later phone mysteriously stops working, months after we had purchased and had been using the phone without issue. I called our phone carrier to find out what the issue was and they stated that the account that originally purchased this device was canceled due to non-payment. This account is associated with the IMEI number. So the phone carrier had blocked that specific IMEI number due to non-payment. This indicated that the seller had sold a phone with an outstanding balance. 10/24/2024: We contacted the seller asking them to correct the issue so that we might resume using the phone. According to our phone carrier, the only way for the IMEI number to be unblocked is for the account balance to be zero balance. The seller states that because the 90 warranty window had passed that they could not address the issue. We respond saying we were sold a phone with an outstanding balance and that we were not aware of this until the phone stopped working a few days ago. Had we known of the issue, we would have reached out to them sooner. 10/25/2024: Seller: "We are sorry to hear that But this order is from May 2024 and it already passed our 90 days warranty period. Any issue should had reported within that window. Please contact Samsung store or go to your local carrier shop for tech support" Me: The phone does not have any technical issues, it’s simply locked because of non-payment. Can you please address the reasons behind the non-payment? I purchased your phone through Amazon, yet the IMEI has been locked for non-payment. Can you please address the reason for the non-payment issue? Would you or your representative be willing to get on a conference call with T mobile to help address the non-payment lock on the phone’s IMEI number? Seller: The phone is for T-Mobile only. Did you try to insert your sim card to the phone and try it out? Can you able to make / receive calls? Me: Since May 2024, after receiving the phone from you, we had a SIM card installed in the phone and the phone was working fine and able to make phone calls and messages. Then, two days ago, I wasn’t able to make phone calls or send messages. We called T-Mobile and they informed us that the phone’s IEMI was locked because of non-payment. Please help resolve this non-payment issue. T mobile states that a previous carrier has locked the IEMI number due to non-payment. At this point I reached out to Amazon for some help dealing with the seller, who was not addressing the IMEI lock on the phone and kept referring back to the fact that the 90-day warranty window had passed. 10/30/2024 Seller: Thank you for contacting us. This phone is for T-Mobile only. Have you try to insert your T-Mobile sim card to the phone directly and try to using it? At this point, I lost my patience and had to call Amazon customer service, which then sent refund requests to the A-Z guarantee group, who kept rejecting it because they didn't seem to understand the specifics of the case. I had to speak to an Amazon supervisor several times to actually get a refund for the phone. I finally obtained a refund on 11/19/2024. Conclusion, beware of this seller. They had at least one phone in their inventory with an unpaid account balance. Who knows how many more phones with unpaid balances they have. If this happens and you don't realize it before the 90-day windows has passed, they will not give you a refund and you will have to battle it out with Amazon reps and supervisors for several weeks before you get your money back. ... show more

We were hesitant to buy a refurbished phone as we've been burned before. The sellers return and warranty policy matched with the Prime guarantee made this a great value for tge money. Our family already has two Samsung S23's and this one works and responds just like the factory new Samsungs. The only possible negative I noticed is the screen doesn't look as crisp and seems a little pixilated. The responsiveness, lock functions, and storage are all on par! Great phone! ... show more

Phone came in excellent condition with fast shipping, however I was unable to connect to cell service. The IMEI was blacklisted by t-mobile and customer support for t-mobile was unable to lock the phone for me despite having a t-mobile data plan. Reached out to the seller and they said it's listed as a locked t-mobile phone despite not saying anywhere that the phone comes locked... even said I can refund the phone if I meant to get an unlocked version. It does not say anywhere in the listing that there is! ... show more
