I did not want to pay over a thousand dollars for a new phone when mine broke. Instead, I chose this one and it is nearly as good as the new one. It was significantly less expensive. I bought the unlocked version so I could just add it to my Verizon plan and swap it out for the broken phone. I love it and it was easy to transfer all my apps and data from my old phone to this phone since I backed everything up using Google. I know not everyone likes all their data in the cloud, but it turns out there is a cable you can use to transfer everything from one phone to the other as well.     • Flawless appearance but unusable
The phone has connectivity issues & gets hot when used.The phone looks flawless, I was really excited and pleased when I took it out of the box....it's beautiful. It read my sim card instantly. However it connects sporadically and only lasts briefly. A pretty &expensive paperweight-unusable. When I'm home and connected to wifi it's nice to scroll on but when I'm out I can't use it to make/receive calls, get online...nothing, it's useless. I have tried troubleshooting because I didn't want to go through the hassle of returning and I need a phone, but this is obviously an internal issue. I'm upset because I've basically been without a phone for a week and can't get a refund until they receive and inspect it...so who knows how long that will take. I was hoping they would send a replacement phone right away while I send this one back since Amazon does this with some replacements but that's not an option. I was confident because this is an Amazon Renwed product but now I'm super frustrated and annoyed. Amazon needs to do a much better job with how they sell used renwed phones. And at least have a quick enchange process because phones are out life line ... show more

    • Buyers Beware - Known signal bug
I had to return due to a S22 Ultra bug with a 2024 update that was not compatible with the phones motherboard. 1st day had connectivity issues and apparently Straight Talk flagged my account, sim, and phone number and deactivated it next day due to the issues with the phone. Hopefully I get my refund soon as I was forced to buy different phone and create an all new account due to my account being unusable and my google RCS is stuck with the number that was deleted from their systems. It is a Samsung issue with the update and as it is an older phone I'm sure they will not waste resources to resolve the issue. Apparently there is a fix, but the imei was already banned and honestly not willing to buy a part that should be being upgraded on a refurb as it seems to be a known issue. ... show more

The phone was not unlocked, completely unusable. SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME, MONEY and HASSLE. DON'T order this phone. It's asking for the previous owners PIN or Gmail account that was last linked to the phone to complete the factory reset. Amazon offered a refund but suggested I contact Samsung Customer Service first. I decided to try Samsung. Samsung recommended a couple authorized "Tech Support Shops" to get it unlocked; after visiting those shops and making a bunch of calls, I was told there was nothing that can be done to fix this situation without the previous owners information. (Which goes against privacy laws and cannot be done) So I went back to Amazon to get a refund. Because it is a "high expense item" someone has to come to my house and pick up the item. Once "scanned in return", they said my refund should be deposited back into my account within 3 business days. They don't know when this person is scheduled to come, said usually it's the next business day, and I need to be avaliable until it is picked up. I read the other reviews and seen they were mostly positive, I figured I would try and save some money and get this "unlocked, refurbished" phone. (It cost $1,007 after taxes) It was not worth it, not only did I end up with an unusable phone, the hassle trying to fix a problem that shouldn't have even been there to begin with, I now have to wait and hope the return goes smoothly and I get my money back like they said. Spending $1,000 on a phone, I expected it to come as described. Very disappointed. The phone did come in very condition so I was pleased with that, but that doesn't change the fact it was completely unusable. ... show more
