I recently bought a refurbished Galaxy S22+ and was a bit hesitant at first, given some mixed reviews on similar devices across sellers. The phone arrived on time and in pristine condition, no scratches or blemishes. Performance has been smooth with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor handling multitasking easily, and the AMOLED display still looks stunning with its vibrant colors and 120Hz refresh rate. Battery life runs down quicker with heavy usage, but that’s expected for an older flagship model and depends on screen-on time and overall workload. It's about the excellent quality, bought it for my son. It's basically brand new. Either it's a new screen put on, or whoever had it before had a screen protector on from the very beginning. I sell phones and see them all the time and its exactly what I paid for and what I expected.

I got this phone for my stepmom who lives on the other side of the country. She has Straight Talk and needed a new phone but was so overwhelmed and confused with the phone options she wasn't sure what to get. I bought this thinking that if she hates it and she can't understand it at least it would be something we could use and to my surprise, She got it working quite fast with the help of some straight-talking employees getting her SIM card transferred. I can hear her much better when she calls. She hasn't complained aboutHaving to plug her phone in because her battery was getting low. The call quality seems to stay connected better and I don't get disconnected from her when she goes inside of her house now. She said the screen is nice and bright and she is able to read everything. I'll get straight to the point. The price is amazing. The phone is in near perfect condition, being a esthetically next to flawless, save for a couple miniscule scuffs on the aluminum railing. The S22+ itself is very fast, reliable and lives up to what is stated on the product page. The one big red flag here is the "unlocked" part. The phone will accept any carrier, such as my T-mobile SIM card, and function as advertised. However, this phone is currently running on Android 12, which is not up to date, and many different attempts at updating manually have been complete failures. The device was originally a Verizon locked phone before becoming unlocked, which means the IMEI is still registered to said carrier. After speaking with various tech support people, I've been told this: Amazon says the issue is with Samsung or Verizon. Samsung says the issue is with Verizon. Verizon says the issue is with Samsung. No one was able to provide me with a software update, which means this device I bought has no future software update support whatsoever. To summarize my review: If you don't mind having a device without the possibility of future updates, then this phone is perfect and works as advertised in every other way. ... show more
