10 Galaxies outta 10))))))))))
Cellphones have come a long way. This S22 is phenomenal. I never did care for the iPhone restrictions, and have always liked the freedom that Android brings. I record all my own music and other entertainment, and Android makes that easier. I have Samsung TVs, tablets, watches, phones, and everything meshes perfectly together. I can watch Samsung's TV channels on my phone, and there are a lot of stations. My faves are Pro tennis, news, and Pickleball. All the apps work perfectly on the s22. It has been glitch free. What is the best feature of the S22, the camera of course. It is said to be better than the iPhone, and I have seen some tests, but honestly I cannot tell from the way these people run tests. If you are taking pictures of food, a jigsaw puzzle, vacation landscape shots, facial photos, the quality is excellent, and the best cellphones offer. WTS, it is not on par with a picture I can take with my Canon cameras. BUT, doing restaurant or bar pics, food, jigsaw puzzles, faces, the quality is amazing. I would need to do a lot of work with a real camera to get the quality that the S22 pumps out on some of these types of photos. It is also nice that you can take a pic and email it right there. Texting photos, don't do it. The quality sucks when texted. There isn't enough megabytes in the networks to text photos that look good. I also have Adobe Lightroom on the phone for very good editing on the run. Most of the photos that you take with a Samsung need no editing, unless you are shooting into the sun or in challenging light. The pictures are generally perfect the first time. I've taken some spring photos of trees and flowers lately in sunny conditions and they are perfect, BAM. The camera has other tricks up its sleeve, lots of them, and more than you probably will ever use. It has PRO MODE, and I generally need it for challenging light scenes. BUT, the normal mode still always beat PRO MODE hands down. Supposedly, there is a star shoot setting for this camera, which I haven't tried yet. Also, another UBER feature of the camera, also not tried yet, is a 100Megapixel photo setting. My Canon cameras only offer a measly 24 or 26 MPs, but yes, that does not equate or compare properly, in reality. There are many other features, but I will mention two others, hyperlapse, and expert RAW photos for better processing. Video on this phone is ridiculously awesome, and better than even the great still camera. I have done quite a few terribly lit racquetball matches, and they simply look professional in 4k. I put these videos on my 4k TV and the phone video did even a more spectacular job of making the dingy court brighten up and sparkle with light that didn't even exist before. The players movements were spot on too. The video is top notch. I have a small plastic mount for it that holds the phone, and can be tripod'd or set on a table. The video is what beats my Canon cameras video. They will only do HD at 60fps. I have a slo-mo video I did of a small dam where water is going thru multiple chutes, and have that as my lockscreen, and I show that off to people all the time, looks way cool. There are two versions of slo-mo video too. The slo-mo feature even has a normal speed which then switches to super slo, awesome. The last camera feature that I think a lot of people will use and like a lot, Panorama mode. I have had Panorama ability on several cell phones, and they always were hit and miss. I have yet to miss with the S22. The Panoramas are stunning. I did some at Mount Lassen and everyone turned out perfect. Fool proof. The tech is top notch on this feature. I'm going to stop now, and may add something later if I think of it. My Samsung Note 8 had a burned in screen and instead of fixing it for $300, I parlayed that into a new S22 on Amazon. What a difference. I use the phone on this phone less than almost all the other features. I needed a phone for a trip after I cancelled the services on the Note8, got the S22, and this is definitely the best phone out there. ... show more

Love the phone, but easily get damage on the outside case.
I love this phone it is convenient but I only use it as a backup because of what t-Mobile talk me into getting a Galaxy fold 5. It is a great product, used every day comments instead of getting on the big computer I enjoy sitting in my living room in my recliners using this phone it's getting on on Wi-Fi. The only problem I had with this phone, the back glass case that came on the phone, no it isn't the protector that cracked when it feel out of pocket and I have had to buy a back to install on the phone which it hasn't been done as of, today I haven't done yet, why because I got sidetracked using the Galaxy Fold 5! Sorry. I brought the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, first from Amazon, and it was an unlock phone! T-Mobile talked me into trying the Samsung Galaxy fold 5. If I take this phone, I would get back $1,000.00 as a refund credit, and I never had a fold-up phone. They would give me credit on my monthly bill $49.17 each month. So, I did accept this phone, but I got the other new phone. Also, you should never pay the phone completely off , if you do that credit will stop coming, I left $20 on my phone because I didn't trust them. The salesman suggested $1 that made me not trust him either. They didn't tell me that they would not refund the $41.17 if I paid it off. But during my time to researching from T-Mobile and on my bills I found it if I pay my phone off early I will not get no more credits. So they charged me each month 84¢, that's all they take out of that $20 for 24 months. It is so good that I left that on there. Sometimes even the best companies are scheming to fool you into getting something in the long run you might like or not like. The very first problem I had with my Galaxy Fold 5, in the middle of the page where you fold your phone up , it begins to crack and then it lifted up in the middle instead of staying in place . That is a problem with all these phones so if you're interested in buying a fold it up like Galaxy fold 7, you better think twice . They have not solved that problem . According to Samsung they had done lots of tests and this was not possible to happen, but it did . I'm not putting Samsung down I love Samsung's products, must electronic things I purchase is Samsung. I got a Samsung refrigerator (an older model that has that freezer door pull out on the bottom), Samsung TV, and I've been getting Samsung for the last 15 years. The newer refrigerator, I won't get, because they got that bobbing drawer, and I don't like it. Why I don't like it, it is I'm getting to old to bend over to search what I want out of there, and the ice tray is shared with the freezer department. Back to the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, if I knew the Samsung Galaxy fold 5 was what it turned out to be. I would not have agreed to the Samsung Galaxy fold 5. However; the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is far the best for your money! ... show more

Best Phone Ever
I usually keep a phone until it stops working, before I even consider buying a new one. But oh boy, after seeing this phone come across my suggestions and doing some background research on it, I knew I had to upgrade. It took about a week to get the phone delivered, but even my impatience and exitement couldn't prepare me for the level of joy and satisfaction I've had since I unboxed and set up the phone. It does literally everything you would and should expect of a smartphone and more... and the best part of it is that it was a breeze to transfer my data from my old phone over to this one. Pros: 1. Sleek feel and finish with high quality materials 2. Amazing screen quality, clarity and brightness 3. The most amazing cameras I've had on a smartphone in a while. I feel nostalgic memories as if it's my Nokia Lumia 920. Nothing can beat it if you know how to use it. 4. So widely customizable that I basically have a new phone every week. 5. The battery lasts all day for me as a power user (I'm in IT and Design and use the phone to run and test apps, make sketches, edit pictures and video's) and even if I overdo it, I can get a full charge in less than an our. Cons: 1. No headphone jack (this is a personal preference) 2. The facial recognition is only optical (using the camera lens), so it's not as useful and accurate as the ones I've seen on Iphones and the fingerprint scanner only works with certain screen protectors, none of which provided by Samsung. As I'm writing this, the S23 is already out and people are raving about it, but I'm pretty sure that I will keep this phone until the updates stop. ... show more
