The phone does not connect well with my mobile data (Simple Mobile-Verizon). I live in Minnesota, and during my first days of use, I had a trip to another state, and the keyboard would not work on my Google Maps, even without me changing settings, so if I did t have a friend with me, I would be very lost. After a few days of returning to MN it returned to normal. I travel a lot and never had those problems using my old S10. So I will keep this one until my budget allows me to get a newer phone. I purchased this phone to replace my K51 that drowned. I wanted a phone that would charge on the wireless charging station on my desk and I had a budget in mind. The Samsung Galaxy S20 fit the bill. The phone arrived and I placed my Tello mobile sim card in the tray. The first thing I noticed is that the sim tray only had a single slot so no room for my SD card. I did look online and it appears that these phones most generally come with a dual card tray, so I guess I will try ordering one at some point. I turned the phone on and received a message that my phone didn't have a verizon sim card so I could only use it for wifi calling. I decided that I'd try setting up the phone and then will contact verizon to see if they can unlock it. By the time I got finished setting up the phone the problem resolved itself and my Tello sim card was working perfectly. No issues and a great price. That's a win for me. ... show more

I've had this phone for almost 2 years. I'm not one to upgrade everytime there's a new phone. I really only upgrade when I have to. I still had an S9 when I got this one. Honestly there are some things that I liked better about the s9. I miss the fingerprint sensor being on the back instead of on the screen. I feel like it worked better on the back. It doesn't take my finger on this one sometimes. Even though the screen is cracked I still have my old s9 that I bought back in 2018 and the fingerprint sensor still works but that's irrelevant here. The face recognition on this phone is pretty good usually. It will recognize me with and without my glasses. Sometimes it will get goofy and say it doesn't recognize me but not often. This phone has been great. I love the color. The back glass recently cracked when my son knocked it off a table for the 2 minutes I had my case off to clean it. 😑 It has been a good phone though the last 2 years and the price was very reasonable. I needed a back up phone for my alter ego. ..he has his own life separate from me. 😊 So when I saw this unlocked Samsung 5G phone for under 200 I knew I had to have it. . although I LOVE the design and despite the size it feels really good in my hand. Like the phones of old when the industry was focused on smaller, light weight sleek design. This is a refurbished product so be sure to check through the sellers from where the product is coming. Don't just hit "add to cart" and buy. Look through all the sellers reviews. I bought through Edge Cellular. I got exactly what I expected: Samsung Galaxy S20 Cloud Pink Unlocked. Seems to be in perfect working order. One more tip: I'm not sure how other carriers function (i.e. if you can just put your sim card in and go) but for a smooth process, I suggest doing the switch at your carrier's official store. To avoid any problems that may come up. It's t-mobile now, but in the past, Sprint attached the device to my phone number. Every time I changed phones, they had to perform the process in order for me to use the phone, even if it was unlocked. I hadn't made any changes to my usage plan since t-mobile took over and it had been years since I had a new device. When I received my s20, tried switching in my sim but I hit a roadblock that made me think the phone was not actually unlocked.
