Battery life lasts me about 28 hours with daily use. The screen is big and beautiful, plus the display technology saves battery by not lighting up the color black. I don't mind the hole-punch selfie camera and I barely notice it because it's generally in the same spot as the notification/status bar. I purchased this phone under the pretense that it was an unlocked phone. It wasn't until I attempted to add a new service through Xfinity Mobile (which operates on the Verizon network) that I discovered the phone was actually not unlocked and the service did/does not work.

Its exterior button is in a completely annoying place next to the volume keys, so it is easy to hit at the most inopportune moment! On a basic level, this is a perfectly fine android phone. It's fast, clear screen, etc. All the stuff that basically comes standard these days. It still has a headphone jack, so that's one thing big in its favor. But the overall design is lacking. The whole concept of the infinity screen that bends around the edges? Annoying, not useful. It makes you have to hold the phone in this weird, try-not-to-touch-the-edges grip which feels very precarious. So you get a case, which solves the problem, but defeats whatever the point of this feature was. Button placement is also poor. If you try to lock the screen or change volume with anything other than your dominant hand in the normal position, you're more than likely going to end up taking a screen shot. No way of disabling that, changing it, adding a delay, nothing. The whole bixby thing is a button and disk space wasted on something no one asked for. In summary, most of the things that distinguish this phone from any other phone with the same specs are things that make it worse. It's not the worst phone in the world or anything, but I won't be getting another Samsung when I eventually replace it. ... show more

My husband's phone broke and I didn't want to do a 2yr contact for the phone through my provider. I was looking through Amazon and they have a 5 months payment plan for the phone. I will be done in 5 months and it's ours. Great investment and easy payments.

After about a year, its more frustrating than any phone I ever used. It just stops and starts, fast... then...REALLY, REALLY SLOW. I shouldn't have to completely factory reset my phone to use it again!!! Still... MUCH BETTER THAN A IPHONE
