  • Awesome Phone
This is the best phone iv had since the first I phone came out. The fingerprint reader is crap but everything else is awesome. If you buy it refurbished, it says Amazon certified it shouldn't. It does not come with a lot of stuff it would if new. No headphones, no case no manual not the same charger or cable, and accessories it would. Saving $700 plus I can live with that, I wish they would say that in the listing so i wouldn't have been a surprised by it. It kind of killed a lot of excitement when I received it. Note it will not work with a lot of carriers. Some being spectrum, us cellular, boost. It works with sprint, at&t, cricket, Verizon. I went with Cricket they had the best service, for the best price. Note it is so much cooler then an S20 Ultra . Hands down I have no regrets with this choice. ... show more

  • Decent first gen folding phone.
Definitely money well spent. I bought it for development and have had a good experience. My only gripe, samsung liked to auto install apps and it came preloaded with apps that were popular at the time, but not now, and there's no way to delete them unless rooting the phone. Outside of that, the battery is great. It lasts me about 2-3 days without charging. Ironically, I use the main screen for mundane activities: checking email, updating apps, quick scroll through social media or shopping. But when I need to actually do something, the full power and features of the phone definitely shine bright. The finger print reader works well, and the camera is actually pretty good. Excited to get the next version. ... show more

  • I had trivial superficial issues but nothing bad enough yet to make me send the phone back.
The phone arrived in a little white box bubble wrapped with a wall charger, a short power cable, a USB adapter and a little tool to open the sim card door. Thats all. The phone arrived with all the factory protective tape already removed. The screen had no scratches but there was a small trivial smudge on the screen that didn't wipe off. I say "trivial" because it was not bad enough for me to want to return the phone. Plus it was impossible to see any imperfections once I applied the screen protector. Overall, I love the phone although I wish I had waited for the Galaxy Fold 2 which came out only a few days later because it has a bigger nicer looking front screen and a better hinge. Well, realistically I couldn't afford it anyway. I have a Spigen brand case on it that actually protects most of the hinge but not the corners of the hinge. Still, I'm paranoid that if I drop the phone (which I will) it could shift the hinge out of alignment and that will be tragic for this phone. It would look horrible. Hence, I got insurance. However, I'm not having any issues with the hinge on the phone as of yet. The phone is working perfectly. No flickering screen, no dead LCD spots, no crashes. I like the phone so much that I already know my next phone will be another newer updated one just like it. I love the big fold out screen and the dual screen operation. It's kinda like having 2 phones. The manufacturer said the screen is good for 200,000 folds (open and close cycles) . So, you should be able to open and close the phone 100x a day for 5 years before you start to notice damage. I hope that's true. I open it around 50x a day so it should last me 10 years but I don't even expect to have this phone no more than 3 to 5 years anyway. The crazy thing is, I purchased this phone for my wife and she didn't like it because it was too big for her hands and looked bulky up against her ear and so she wanted me to have it because it seemed more like a man's phone. I didn't put up much of a fight. When you turn the phone on, it boots up showing the AT&T logo. It has AT&T bloatware but it is not locked to AT&T. I put my T-Mobile sim card in and it works perfectly. You can remove the AT&T logo if you have the phone rooted but I'm scared to do that because I'm not sure if I could do it without causing damage and I don't know if I can put it back like it was for warranty purposes. The only issue I had was after a few days AT&T started calling me. I never answered but they left a message saying I was in possession of their equipment and they want it back. So I contacted the seller. He said he was going to call AT&T and find out what's going on and call me back. Well, as expected he NEVER called me back to update me on what happened. I haven't got any more calls from AT&T but that don't mean they won't. I really wish he had called me back like he said. Just to let me know he got it straightened out or at least tried to. It would have been worth an extra star. Update: I found out that AT&T was calling me about some direct TV equipment and had nothing to do with this cellphone. Update: Its been a year now. Absolutely no problems with this phone so far. This is the the original Galaxy Fold that they said had issues but mine does not. I use it everyday for work driving all over the country going to construction sites and steel plants. I have dropped it several times but the protective case does its job well and I've had absolutely no issues at all. The henge is still firm, the screen is still like new due to screen protectors. I would say the only problem I've noticed is the battery sometimes dies at 4% instead of 1% like it use to and there's no way for me to put in a new battery without putting the phone in the shop. I'm definitely happy with it and when it's time to upgrade, my mind is already made up...I'm gonna get another galaxy fold but it will be the next model up. ... show more

  • Worth The Hype
Phone had a tiny little dent on the back of the phone on the metal hinge but honestly I expected it to be in worse condition for such a refurbished product. Aside from the tiny dent the phone is still in great condition and I looks absolutely beautiful and feels very premium and hefty in the hand which I love. Phone came with a cheap charger but not a deal breaker I'm very happy with the purchase and for the $750 price tag its a steal ... show more

  • Cannot update software
Phone is amazing but I cannot update the software.. Keeps on saying "software has been interrupted"! Contacted Samsung to ask if that's normal and was told no. Recommended to go to a sam store.. Shouldn't need to do that for the amount of money I spent on this phone!!

  • Looks brand new, but can feel gear movement while opening and closing
Like the title says, the screen looks practically brand new, no scratches at all anywhere on the device, but when opening and closing, I can clearly feel the gear movement. Clear signs of wear from the previous owner who didn't take care of it well. This is something you should be aware of, even being temped with the lower cost. You won't be happy. I certainly wasn't and returned mine soon after I got it. ... show more
