It's a great watch i love Samsung products those who have t mobile u try to get it activated the store i went to i went 4 times... Its unlocked so stand alone it has to be activated like a stand alone voice line it will not be same as u buy this watch in tmoilbe... After three time going they finally got it workikg as an own device but since i atill had the app one the cell connected when i came home when i answered a call the watch connected to the cell phone line and i lost the stand alone voice line and i can not get it back.. When u get get the unlick watch get the app to connect to set up the watch and disconnect the watch from cell... Somce its unlocked watch you will not be able to use its whole function I didn't care since I bought it for my 12 year old and just making calls and receiving calls when he is playing outside was enough... Ugh why no one told me to disconnect the watch from the cell... ... show more

I bought this watch, it's beautiful, it's working and without a defect in sight, but the lte function in Brazil doesn't work and in the product description it says that it's unlocked but it doesn't work

Loved the watch but bought the refurb LTE and found out that xfinity while even being on Verizon will not work with this watch for the LTE. Then when i went to charge it up the charger provides a message "use original equipment" and i thought it was odd but i assumed it was that i put it on then took it off as i moved it. 2 hours later the battery was drained and was really HOT! so i let it cool down then charged it while powered off with no issues. I am returning it since i have no idea if it was charger or watch that has issues. I did like the watch and now ordering the one without the LTE ability for 80 bucks cheaper...still refurbed because it really did look like NEW! I was not real happy with the way the RING app worked with the watch, but thats the app i paid 2 bucks for. I still lhave to figure out how the text messages can be shown because i think it may be that my old watch was still powered on. the fact that i am buying the same watch again says i like it and compared to my gear S2 this is a huge step up! charge lasts at least 4 days but again i may have an issue that means a new one would last longer. the screen is amazing and very large compared to my gear s2 and i recommend the 40 MM size if a woman or a guy that wants a less obvious watch. 44 seems big to me and I am 220 with decent size wrists. i think this will be a popular device and would have given 5 stars but i just have not mastered it yet so can not say for sure. it does have a weird feature to turn on if you are getting in a pool so the screen is not going crazy. i assume it lessens the sensitivity for the screen so the warm water is not making the screen change. it worked well in my hot tub! ... show more

While the Active has been out for over a year it bring exceptional value as an everday versatile smartwatch. The battery easily gets me through the day. I use LTE a few times a day when I'm without my phone and I still usually have juice the next day. Very disappointed. They said the color was black but I got a silver watch. To make things worse, it doesnt even work. Very disappointed, smh.

    • Activation procedure was not clear
First of all, the item arrived in like new condition and works great, but I had a hell of a time activating it on ATT's network. That was part ATT's fault and part mine. I don't know about Verizon or Sprint/T-Mobile, but: YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE ATT STORE AND ACTIVATE IT IN PERSON using the Android app on your phone and the watch has to be coupled with a phone. Don't try to use online configuration apps or online/dial in support. The Samsung web site is pretty clear that you have to have a QR code or numeric code to enter into the Wearable app on the phone to activate on the carrier network but the online and dial in technical support at ATT has no idea of the procedure required. The only way to get the code from ATT is to go to a store. The watch has an electronic SIM card that has to be reprogrammed by the carrier with one one of their own EID/ICCID. At the store they have cards with the new EID/ECCID and a QR code that provides the android app the necessary EID/ICCID. The app does the rest and ATT's system and the watch (and the watch owner) are happy. My apologies to the seller because I returned the first watch I purchased because the online support couldn't get it up and running at no fault of the seller's. ... show more

I use this every day. It last one full day if im using it constantly all day or 2 days of mild usage. Bright screen I can see outside, I get compliments all the time on this thing. I haven't connected it to my phone plan yet so I can't say how well that works but it's a solid watch I send texts and make calls on it all the time with 0 issues. Well worth the money. ... show more
