If you don't need the latest and greatest, you can get something very good in the A54. It's large, has a good camera and it does what I need it to do. I don't play CPU-intensive games, but I do watch videos, and the picture looks good. I also don't download and many apps so I can't tell you if that would adversely affect the phone's performance. Battery life is good. It lasts at least all day with heavy use. I miss the headphone jack of my A52. I saved money buying the phone here and activating it through my account on my carrier's website. ... show more

I bought this phone under false advertisement. In the description, it says it's a new phone and made in the USA. From day one of getting this phone I had nothing but problems. The phone didn't want to charge properly. The voice to text didn't register, right. The flashlight was not bright at all. I called Amazon and they told me to contact Samsung because the phone was under manufacturer warranty. When I called Samsung, they told me to go to a certified fix it place, to see if they could fix the problem. Unfortunately, they were unable to, so they told me to contact Samsung again. When I called Samsung for the second time, they said they can't help me because this is not a new Phone. It's refurbished. And the phone was not Made in the USA It was made in Latin America. So they told me I have to call the international Samsung number for any further help. Nowhere in the listing of this phone said this was a refurbished phone. I contacted Amazon in regards to all the problems I was having and they said they would give me a full refund, and that they were going to send a carrier to pick up the phone at my house. I told them I needed a couple days so I can get a new phone because if I gave it to them right away, I would have no means of communication. I also needed to transfer all my information off the phone, so I could do a factory reset. Amazon told me to contact them when I was ready to have the phone picked up. When I did the factory reset, the phone was set to Spanish. So that tells me that the seller programmed the phone to english before sending it to me. I called them a few days later, letting them know I was ready for the pick up and they said that too much time has passed and that they would not give me my refund, even though I have confirmation emails and writing of them saying that they would. They claimed that a carrier came to my house, which they did not. I tried to talk to someone, but they talked over me and hung up on me. I called at least 6 times in a matter of an hour, which each person said they're not gonna help me and that I was out all this money. Even though I was doing what they told me to do in the first place. I had to fight Amazon left and right just to get a tracking number. And even then they were refusing to help me. I had to go to UPS myself and ask for help. Between two store employees and a driver, they were able to get Amazon to give me the information I needed. I've never had this problem with Amazon. I don't understand why they're penalizing me when they should be going after the person who is selling fake phones. I am not the only person this has happened to. I urge you not to purchase anything from this person. And to Amazon, you really need to do better with your customer service. I can't believe you treated me in the manner you did. It is completely unacceptable. No one should have to go through what I went through. Do better and get rid of this seller! ... show more

I used this Phone to upgrade from my S8+ which is no longer getting security updates. I moved my Mint Mobile sim card to this phone and it activated without any issues. I used the Smart Switch app and it worked great. It moved all my setting, contacts, text messages, pictures and apps to the new phone. At least compared to the S8+ this phone is much faster, much better camera, and it about the same screen size. So far I am really happy with the purchase. I was concerned buying a international version but this seems to work fine with the USA T-mobile towers which Mint Mobile uses. I have a friend with a T-mobile phone and so far the signal strengths seem to be the same. ... show more

Very good photo, not to expensive. It's fast enough to search for applications or use the Internet. This phone has very good camera. And what's best is that it has external memory, so you can expand the phone's memory by adding an SD card. this is a big saving than paying an extra $200 for more memory in your phone. ... show more
