got the a42 5g phone. I paid more for the "excellent" condition one. It came in a nice sealed package. There are no scratches or any kind of damage on it. The screen was in excellent condition. I turned it on and it was charged at 91%. The set up was easy although I did not hook it up to a cellular service yet. This is just a back up phone for when i travel so For now I'll just be using it like a tablet on wifi. I downloaded all my favorite apps and got my credit card loaded on the Google tap and pay app. Set up biometrics on there, my pin and fingerprint. No issues. It's just as fast as my current cellphone. Actually It's the same exact model as my current cellphone. It holds a charge just fine with use and charges to 100%. It came with a charging wire and block. I read some reviews that said this phone wasn't compatible with Verizon network. So I called Verizon and gave them the phones IMEI number and they verified it is locked and compatible with the Verizon network. Which is what it says in the description. Im doing alot of international travel. so I just need a back up phone if my current cell gets lost, stolen, or badly damaged when I'm on vacation. I've had a couple of friends end up having their cellphone stolen by pickpockets and left without a phone the entire trip. I'm not doing that lol. But I need a sim card to get a plan and this phone does not have one. I can get a sim card in Europe but i won't be able to transfer my verizon plan or american phone number to it. So Verizon said I can get a Verizon sim card kit at Walmart. It's like 5 dollars. Keep it in my luggage just in case I need to activate this cellphone and then just call Verizon to set up plan and port my current phone number to it. Anyways it works great. Listening to music through ear buds riding my bike. Heard a weird noise and phone looped in logo screen. Would not do anything else. Google search...tried various button combos ... Nothing worked. Screen went black. A day later...charged after letting drain...charged and nothing. 3 weeks and I have to do a new device thing again!?! Will NEVER do refurbished again!!!! I want my money back. And it's been a month that I still don't have my money back and I keep changing the dates of when I'm supposed to be issued my refund. Do not buy from this seller. Number one you will get a faulty defective item. And then you will never get your refund. So you will not have the product or your money. I've just been ripped off $145. ... show more

Absolutely love the Galaxy A42, I got the phone on August 15th and got it activated , this phone is a great phone, the battery life is really good and it just updated to the Android 12, I got a heavy duty Poetic case from Amazon and the phone still isn't heavy. The Infinity Amoled display is beautiful..I would definitely buy another phone from the gadget deals the phone looks to be just as described as excellent condition, not a scratch or blemish...I would definitely getting a Samsung Galaxy A42 because you won't be disappointed, the phone is responsive with no lagging or freezing up as I've seen others say.. ... show more
