Amazing phone, i downgraded from the galaxy S21 thinking it would be slower, but honestly the perfomance wasnt even half bad, slight lag every once in a while but to be expected at this price point, great battery great cameras, 5G blew my mind, thought it would be as bad as the A16 5G, but has way better connectivity than that phone. ... show more

My words are about the particularities of the device I received, for general Galaxy A36 review look around. The model I received is SM-A366E/DS in case one wants to check mobile service provider compatibility. T-mobile sent me a warning that the device is not fully compatible with their network without any further explanations. The deficiency is in the long range 5G bands (N2, N5, N25, N71), although it does support N41 so close to towers it gets 5G speeds. I found this not enough reason to return it, decided that the price I paid was fair. The second deficiency is more obscure - I could not find a way to use eSIM. It does have dual slot for physical SIM cards and they function well though. I found this acceptable again for the price paid. ... show more

I purchased this phone to replace my Motorola Edge 2021. I have always used Motorola but the main reason I changed is lack of updates. You will only get 2/3 major updates within a 3 year period with Motorola and mine had expired. Why would I pay a similar amount of $ when I can get a Samsung that has updates for 6/7 years. That's crazy! I was somewhat concerned about the warranty. Since this is the international version you won't get the manufacturer's warranty. However, I have never used one since I started buying phones so I figured it was worth the risk. I also have Tello and it connected perfectly fine with that cell carrier. So for that carrier it is unlocked. Tello uses T-Mobile towers. Everything copied over to my new phone with no issues. The speed seems similar to my old phone. I did not care about the color of the phone since I use a case. I got the 256g since that's what I had with my old phone. It's worth it to try the international version if you want to save money. Try to verify your carrier to make sure it works with them. ... show more
