Great phone that will work without a sim or need for a carrier, bought for my son cause he wanted an android as well as an iPhone, but I didn’t want to pay for two lines, this solved that problem. Also paired the galaxy watch 6 with it perfectly

I've used this for a while, and while a lot better than a cheaper phone I've had for years, this does a lot better, as long as your willing to give it 15-20 minutes from the time you hit the power button. I've seen it turning on take 10 or so minutes, but that might be because of an update, or something else, however once powered on and on the home screen, it will be slow for a little bit once you log in due to loading all the background stuff. Nothing too surprising, but still annoying, especially when my phone is off more than it's on...millennials and some of gen Z have no idea what I just said at the end. ... show more

**EDIT : 12/7/23 This POS is the worst cellphone I've ever had. It is unresponsive, missing settings, unable to clear notifications, loaded with so many unwanted Apps that I can't uninstall that take up nearly half the storage. It's now the bane of my existence but I'm stuck with it for now. It shall remain off so I don't have to see the screen with unclearable notifications. Get a landline and an answering machine instead of this Samsung. I'm not using the face recognition so I can't rate that. The screen is not very responsive, the battery runs out quickly, the camera has a few more settings than my old camera but it's nothing special or desirable. I just don't like it very much. I have found nothing to recommend it as better than anything else. It's unlocked so I could use it with my Pure Talk plan. I would have gotten something even less expensive. it's just a cheap phone for someone on a budget who needs a basic communication device. ... show more

I got this Samsung as a replacement for my other phone that malfunctioned. The reviews internationally were great. So I went and bought the A13. But this phone leave a bit to be desired and then some. Pros. Great storage , Beautiful screen, Nice feel, decent camera. nice looking phone. Cons. They say it has 4 gigs of ram. it does not act like it. RAm Plus 2/4 gig of Virtual Ram is a joke. Phone receives calls but does not ring. (happend several times.) Battery last less than 2days even when on stand by. Antennae seems under powered. Real quirky on GPS Speaker could be louder. Dialing is quirky when you use it. CPU gets hot on the most basic games. Screen constantly turns off even after changing the time out. I've talk to Samsung several times about the issues that I am having. The went in and then told me that I needed to start the phone in safe mode. But did not articulate what I needed to do in safe mode. after they went in and did something to it. It wiped the cache on everything on the phone. It would have helped if they had told me ahead of time. Still did not fix the issues. I heard that Samsung's were great phones. unfortunately for me that was not the case. I do not foresee myself purchasing another Samsung. ... show more
