This air purifier is great...except that Samsung does not sell replacement filters. I have tried extensively for a year and half to buy filters and keep getting the messaging that the filters are "back ordered." I have tried to buy from third party companies, also a no. Bottom line, replacement filters do not exist rendering this product useless after 3-6 months. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. After a long winter of doors and windows closed, the air inside felt incredibly stale. I've had the fortune to try three different air purifiers over the past few weeks - an inexpensive Pomoran ($50 at time of purchase, now $94), a Bissell air280 ($225) and this, the Bespoke Cube ($500). The difference between these three purifiers is like night and day, and this is, by far, the best of the three. First, for size - this thing is HUGE. It's the size of a hotel mini fridge. Second - it's quiet unless you make it mad. Yes, it gets mad. I've been keeping it in sensor mode, where it operates at a nearly silent whisper, slowly circulating the air and testing the quality. Once it detects pollutants or a drop in air quality, the light turns red and it ramps up the fan speed, and rage screams until the air is clean again. The volume on its max air setting is loud, but not as loud as some other purifiers. The sounds is made less jarring because it ramps up smoothly and ramps back down smoothly as well. It's about as loud as a Dyson bladeless fan on high, if that helps. It doesn't like vape clouds. It doesn't like incense. It doesn't like flatulence. It doesn't like dust. It doesn't like when I cook. It doesn't like my cat. It doesn't like anything except for pure, clean air. If you're already a Samsung user and have their a Galaxy phone or tablet, you already have the SmartThings app, which you can use to change the settings remotely. It's also able to connect to Alexa and Google home. I haven't connected it to the Alexa yet, but find that SmartThings works beautifully to change settings and monitor air quality. It does seem to have a blind spot, right in front of it. If you put incense directly in front of the purifier, it won't detect it for some time. I currently have it about ten feet away from the seating area in my room, and it takes about a minute for it to register incense. If the incense is closer, it will kick on much faster. It is energy star rated, but I haven't had a chance to assess the impact on our electric bill yet. The replacement filters costs $80. Eek! Filter life will depend on your usage and air quality, but I'm hoping it will last at least six months. All in all though, if you're an allergy sufferer or are concerned about your air quality, this is the one to get. ... show more
