  • Basically, very impressive....
Size: 50"
I really wanted a QLED TV, namely by Samsung, after seeing them in stores. They were always the best looking and always showed individual things on their screen with better contrast and color. I looked into higher models and was happy to learn I could also get one that was 120 hertz for the best motion fidelity. When I saw this particular offer for this model I was excited because it was quite a bit less than anything comparable, and it was the newest 'NEO' QLED which I'd read was even more impressive than regular QLED and basically the closest yet to OLED but with notably better brightness and no burn-in risk. This is indeed an impressive TV...it has very robust brightness, a nice compact remote and smart system that I learned to use in a few minutes, and comes with all kinds of extras like hundreds of free channels ready to watch, ALEXA capability, basic internet browser, loads of apps, 'ambient' screen mode (very pretty), etc. etc. Everything also is super-crisp from the aggressive 4k upscaling and yes, motion on my games does look very strong and clear, with plenty of options to customize/enhance that aspect as well. The only thing I'm sort of bothered by or just getting used to is that, well, it's all a bit TOO MUCH. Things I watch really want to jump into being super-bright and high-contrast, pretty much all the time. Even on warmer settings and lowering the brightness and contrast, and raising the color, a lot of things look too greyish or pinkish, I hardly ever see just basic relaxed flesh tones or beige or even browns. The whites are VERY white and while impressive, get tiresome when they dominate or intrude on what you're watching too much. So that's basically it: very strong performance (and good value) but tends to neglect the more subtle and neutral side of the viewing spectrum. ... show more

  • Technically magnificent TV, but...
Size: 50"
There's always a but, right? Like I said, this TV is technically excellent, however there are some shortcomings. First, it's as if Samsung has gotten the technology down so well when it comes to picture quality that to delve any further produces more and more artificial results. Meaning the technical properties are literally better but the end result leads to something so perfect looking it becomes artificial or of fiction. But, that's just the digital electronic world we live in now. Because of this TV crazy high proficiency, I had to scale or dial back the aspects in order to get a more realistic picture. Once I played around with the parameters, I finally got a picture I liked regardless of the source material. This meant decreasing the quantum dot function! With it at Samsung's recommend level the picture was just too much. It was too vibrant, too dynamic, too much extra! It also had that documentary look, which I hate! I've read that the documentary look occurs to people whose eyes are very sensitive to movement. Oh and also, I really hate that Samsung tries to interfere with Google assistant on this TV. Let the various AI gadgets do their own thing! You can also choose Alexa and other options, but Samsung will butt in. So there you go. No doubt this TV is technically marvelous and is probably the furthest any NON-OLED TV can go as far as picture quality. Just be prepared to do some fine tuning. Overall rating - 4.6 ... show more

  • Amazing Picture at a Great Price!
Size: 50"
The media could not be loaded. From what I've read elsewhere this is the exact same TV as the QN90A which sells for around $200+ more. I ordered the QN90A "renewed" from Amazon but received a damaged TV, so I found this after returning it and I can't see a single difference. If there is a difference I can't find it and from the review site I saw prior to purchase they say these are the same TVs. It's an amazing picture and the 120Hz/5ms gaming is so much better. It really makes a difference and on games that require fast reaction times, it will make you better instantly. Pros : - Amazing TV. Every review I watched had this at either the top spot for 2021 or damn near it and the only TVs that were beating it were 2x-3x the price. - The price for the quality cannot be beat. - Well built compared to other brands like TCL and Hisense. Cons : - You will not qualify for the free 6 months of streaming service that comes with it since it was purchased on Amazon and not one of the 3 qualifying retailers. I'm assuming the seller here purchased these from one of the large retailers and is reselling them. Samsung turned me down for that reason when I tried to register. - I have no idea why, but things don't like to stick to the back of it very well, like backlighting. Mine are falling off every week or so. I will need to get some better adhesive apparently. ... show more

  • Amazing picture
I am not a big TV person, but the color and deepened of the blacks from this TV blows my other ones out of the water. I didn’t know if spending more on a TV was worth it but I’m finding out it defiantly was

  • Amazing TV.
I had been looking at the Samsung QN90B in a 65” size, which will run around $1800 plus tax. I was able to get this television a QN9QN which is basically identical to the QN90A. The biggest difference between the A (2021) and the B (2022) is there is only 1of the 4 HDMI inputs is 2.1 on the A and all 4 are HDMI 2.1 on the B. Unless you have both a PS5 and a XBox X|S; this shouldn’t be an issue as both have eARC. Both have a nextgen tuner ATSC 3.0. This television replaced a LG OLED which suffered from burn in after just one day of watching cable news🤬. ... show more

  • Very nice but not the best sound
Size: 50"
Had some challenges setting it up and had to call for help. The sound from the TV speaker is not the best and there are no detailed sound adjustments beyond "amplified". Also the sound from the TV speaker is just slightly delayed from the video. I have not been able to resolve this. Nice picture quality. Highly reflective screen. ... show more

  • Great picture, easy setup, ok remote
The remote is the only minor detractor for this tv. Otherwise, love it!
