I bought this carryon as my frequent business travel carryon. It was great, perfect size, easy to maneuver and easy to spot if I checked the bag. That is until it cracked close to the handle bar. It was useable but not the same. Samsonite read my review and after I provided basic information they were able to overnight a brand new one, just in time for my business trip. I love the carry on and wonderful customer service from Samsonite. Thanks Johnny!!

I travel a lot for work and need a bag that I can confidently carry onto a plane as I hate checking baggage. While this product meets that need, there are some negatives that slot this into a temporary replacement for my case that recently broke. Pros: - Nice exterior, the flexibility of the outer shell is great and the color is like a silver blue. This is not a hard shell and will crack if you are careless! - Pull up handle feels great and sturdy. Cons: - The zipper opening is in the middle and divides the case into two equally sized compartments. This is different from my old Samsonite and I'm not a fan. I need to often bring two pairs of shoes and that completely dominates one side. Also it makes it difficult on toiletries which are in the center of both halves. This greatly reduces available space. I would only recommend this for a 2 - 3 day trip, anything beyond that and you'll have to pray your clothes are tiny and/or you're a folding master. I use the roll up technique and was able to squeeze out enough for 5 days barely. Conclusion: Great case for a couple days, travels well and you can customize the case with stickers to differentiate yours. The con listed above is big enough that I personally wouldn't buy this design again, but I was in a situation where I needed a case fast and that wasn't too pricy. If you take a lot of small trips or weekend getaways, you'll love this case.

Don't buy these. I purchased 2 sets during the black friday sale and they are a big disappointment. I have visited 45+ countries and travel every month. This suitcase has the most awkward divider system I've ever seen. No zipper, no flexible strap... Instead, it has these weird plastic hooks that are supposed to slide into a sheath.... well, it doesn't work and one of the suitcases had broken hooks upon arrival so every time you open your suitcase all of your perfectly folded clothes come falling out. I'm so disappointed that I wasted money on this and since it was a xmas gift i couldn't return it after my gf opened it.

We recently traveled for the holidays and our old suitcase set was canvas and extremely heavy. So we decided to replace them with the new Samsonite hard sided bags. They pack easily. The only problem is that I wish they had put a zippered cover over both sides in the interior. Instead I’ll get some fabric packing bags to organize the suitcases!! They are easy to roll and they took the beating from the airlines with no problem! I recommend!

I've flown with these about 10 times now and they are still holding up like new, including the locks. I love how easily they fit together for storage too. They don't have a bunch of bells and whistles like some of the more expensive options but if you just need something basic to keep your stuff safe while traveling, you should give this set a try.

I Got this for my girlfriend because she wanted to match me with hardshell luggage but she didnt like the 50/50 split style of my monos hardshell roller. She wanted hardshell 4 wheel roller but 90/10 style split, stumbled on this one. The luggage has been in trains planes and automobiles and from vietnam and back. looks nicer than my more expensive monos luggage. 2 years and still going strong.
