Size: Carry-On 20-Inch Color: Purple
Love the Samsonite hardside luggage, also loved the color. Looks like it can hold a lot of items. Easy to roll, lightweight yet sturdy. Very attractive style.

  • Just Recieved, will update after cruise handling *UPDATED*
Size: 3-Piece Set (20/24/28) Color: Deep Purple
I must have spent hours looking for luggage sets. I'm not made of money, but I'm also just paranoid enough to not want to risk a less expensive brand that reviews were either broken wheels or zippers. I get hard luggage will get banged up, so wanted to go darker color wise. My husband didn't care about the color, and the white, orange and purple 3 sets were half the price of the other colors. White is too light for us. Orange will (imo) look dirty quick. Dark purple won't look super dirty fast and hopefully will hide scuff marks better. So he gets manly purple. The protective plastic film is still on in the photos, but if you look around the logo you can see the true shine. We may leave the film on for the cruise, sure it'll look goofy but will provide a tiny bit more protection than if it was gone? Side note, if you check out lots of the negative reviews, they tend to refer to scratched up and peeling 'finish', thus is likely the protective film. I'll update again after the cruise for a true story of how well it works! Zippers feep sturdy. Zipper on the liner is backwards, which I think is intentional as I've seen this on various luggage sets in store. It opens just fine though. Handles feel good, but I'm honestly nervous on how well they'll handle weight. Luggage came with 1 of the luggage locks numbers off, it said 001 instead of 000 like the others. Common sense made me change it to 000 and it opened just fine, so make sure to try the default of 000 if yours is the same. Package was only taped once, all packing material seemed solid and not redone, so I doubt this is a return. *UPDATE* Luggage handled the cruise handling just fine. We checked the 2 larger bags and carry on the small. We walked off with all 3,including walking across a busy street to our parking garage. The luggage has very slight scrapes, nothing noticeable unless you're looking close and at an angle. I did remove the plastic before the trip too. Wheels worked well. Handles did fine. I had the medium and large loaded to just under 50lbs each. Only issue is, I was going to register the luggage and it says to use a QR paper that came with the luggage or find it in the luggage. There was no QR code anywhere and I do have a tag in each luggage but can not figure out what numbers to use. I emailed the company so will k ow soon hopefully. Luggage wise, I'm not regretting it as our first luggage purchase at all. They're so pretty and feel sturdy, I cannot wait to find another reason to travel with them again! All 3 fit in the trunk of our 2013 Hyundai Elantra BTW. Pro tip, open the luggage to air out a bit, then toss a dryer sheet in each side (behind the zipper). My husband was wondering what smelled so good when he helped me pack the luggage, and when we opened it upon return it smelled very nice. ... show more

  • Reliable for international travel
Size: Checked-Medium 24-Inch Color: Burgundy
Used for a one-week international business trip to Belgium, and it held up very well! I checked 3 bottles of wine on my way home, and no issues! While it looks a little small, this held a full weeks worth of business dresses, dressy shoes/boots and multiple blazers. I didn’t even need to use the expansion section! Highly impressed. Worth every penny. ... show more

  • Great construction, sharp look, holds up after 60 flights.
Size: Carry-On 20-Inch Color: Charcoal
Great look, packs well, dissimilar to other luggage. We have 6 of these, both carry on hard cases and large check size. I occasionally check the bag when it's free at the gate. Thanks to my credit card, I get a free checked bag, so we always check the larger versions of this when we are on extended travel. The only issue we've experienced in over 60 flights last year was the bars of the handle became bent due to the gorilla baggage handler. I opened the case (easy to access because of the zippered liner) and made a fix by hammering and straightening the assembly. Overall, the carry on hard case is ample for 4 days of clothing (haha...it *can* be done if you're a good packer). Wheels and case have held up well, there are scratches that turn out to be plastic rubbed onto the finish that comes off with a cleaner like goof-off or just glass cleaner. Easy to tote around the airport with a soft case on top, and the case fits easily down the seat aisle rolling on all 4 wheels. [Update]: Still working great after 4+ years and over 1000 flights now. It shows wear and tear on the wheels, but it looks practically brand new. Zippers, Lock and handles all working fine... I traveled 20 weeks and over 60 flights last year with this little case, for what it's worth I'll pass on a few hints I use to pack if anyone is interested... -Pants, large items...fold them in as large an area as possible to fit in the case. The fewer folds, less wrinkles. -Underwear, Undershirts, socks, etc...don't fold small. Layer them on top of other clothing in as large and thin a layer as possible. -Dress shirts: [Have cleaners] use heavy starch, fold in 3rd, and layer alternating collars and place in zippered top section. -I pack dry toiletries in a clear sided pencil case, and all 3oz. in a heavy duty zippered freezer bag. -Carry toiletries and liquids in a soft carry on to avoid spills and save space..eases TSA process. -Pack hangers and hang out clothes, unpack as soon as possible. -Purchase a few zip-lock style shrink bags. I don't use these to pack GOING, I use them to store worn clothes for the trip BACK...amazing how much space they create when packing to come home. Easy to 'vacuum' seal by covering with a hotel pillow and laying on it to remove air. -Bring a few plastic shopping bags (wrap your shoes) and also protect clothing from spills. They come in handy in CA (no bags at grocery stores!) -I carry a back pack to house my iPad, MacBook, toiletries and a few snacks + a collapsable water bottle I fill just before flight...I try to put my shoes and at least a days change of clothes in case I check my hard case carry on and they lose it! Hope that helps, or perhaps there's something in there you can use to add to what works for you. ... show more
