The mesh zip is great for containing one side and the other has straps to hold the other half together so your items don't fall out. These bags are great. Easy to handle, very spacious, and durable. Very easy to roll. TSA lock works well. Careful when setting the combination, though, as there is no way to retrieve an erroneous combination. I’ve traveled internationally with it and I see no dents or scratches. Good buy!!

The media could not be loaded. BEFORE USAGE After an exhaustive search for a clam shell luggage set, I came across this. Many other color sets from less known manufacturers had various complaints about quality or durability, so I was about to give up when I discovered this Samsonite set. I've always had confidence in this company and am very happy with this purchase. I'll be using it on trip to Alaska and will update this review if things change. AFTER USAGE The set held up well and was easy to maneuver with over 50lbs of content. However, it is not scratch resistant (see the photos). Doesn’t have pockets or compartments on inside. Expected it to be more durable. I know they can’t be responsible for poor handling in airports, but one case was totally ruined after first flight. Outside needs to be durable, especially when they are so expensive.

I bought the 3 piece set for our 50th Anniversary cruise. On the first day, the luggage cracked. Trying now to deal with Samsonite as the seller won’t deal with this problem!
