These mid-size suitcases (not for overhead storage) are very nice and have a zippered flap side, the other side has an elastic restraint to hold items in. Larger items that is. It is TSA approved and has a locking mechanism where you put the ends of the zippers through a catch. There is a TSA lock for the agents to be able to access. Love that these come in a variety of colors. Very easy to roll, handle length is long enough for a carry-on bag and it will hold a lot. The medium (24") is the perfect size in my opinion. We bought the Large (28") and the carry on (19") last summer. The large is almost too big, good for a 10 day trip, it would be easy to overfill the Large, causing overweight charge at the airport. These are great, seem durable, we have 1 trip with the large and carry-on. I wanted the medium, I probably could have saved a bit of $$ buying the 3 pc set. Just received my medium size Omni 2 blue lagoon luggage piece to add to my carry on. I noticed a very small white dot or smudge on the bottom of it. It looks as if it might be a very tiny part left unpainted or dyed in the material. It's small and on the bottom of the piece next to a wheel, so I'm not going to return the piece. If it turns into something bigger or a structural defect, I'll notify Samsonite. The inspector should have noticed it but it obviously was cleared to sell or it occurred after at some point. Other than this, the wheels and handle work and it easily spins around on all four wheels. Even with this little defect, I still love the color and am happy to have this as my "go to" luggage. ... show more

We have traveled the world and have never had problems with luggage until now. We bought 2 of the medium sized bags as our new luggage for travel. We have flown with the bags on 2 different trips and both bags have completely failed. On our first trip one bag completely broke, the fabric ripped, and the zippers fell off from the bag. Have not been able to use this bag again. The second bag has come off the baggage carousel with a split zipper 2/4 times and has been completely open due to a weak zipper. We contacted Samsonite with the problem and they have been totally unhelpful. They offered to repair the bag but put in on us to schedule the repair, send the bag and figure out how to get the bag fixed. There was very minimal help and support on their side. At this point we are just considering throwing the bags out and trying a different brand. Overall quality of the bag and customer support have been very disappointing. ... show more
