As a road warrior, I love this suitcase. I fly about 85% of the year and this hardshell case can take a beating. So on the first trip, the Samsonite badge fell off. Aside from that it has held its on well. With it being a 4 wheel roller, it's effortless moving it around with one hand. Even with it fully loaded with 75 lbs of stuff in it. Bags comparable to this will take a beating if its full (your stuff inside keeps it from cracking and caving in). Think about trying to crush a unopened soda can vs a empty one. This is not the case with this hardshell. I'll have it less than half way full and there is no damage to it. I can sit on it while its on its side and it doesn't give in. Inside there is no liner, just the shell. I dont really see this as a issue. There is one divider to help things stay put when opening the case. There is a water resistant seal around the lid which i think is nice. The bright orange color makes it easy to spot at baggage claim or if it gets lost in transit. Overall for the price and durability this is a steal.

Love this suitcase. It's HUGGGGE. Plenty of room. No compartments however other than a net with a small pocket, but as far as space you can't beat it. I would recommend they make the handle more stable however. It doesn't seem very study extended all the way out. I would recommend a different design. i get around this by not extending it out all the way but you will tend to trip on it at times. I find myself just letting it roll flat vs.leaning it at a tilt. You can spot it from a mile away and no getting your suitcase mixed up with others, because it's very unique. The orange color is awesome but it gets dirty really easy and you can expect it to look worn after the first use. No issues with the TSA lock after 2 trips. i got it to protect my laptops because it's hardshell but ended up switching to a carry on bag for that purpose. But, nonetheless I am still very pleased with this purchase.

So this suitcase is generally fine, but the color in the picture is misleading. It is so bright, I'm surprised you can't see it from within the cargo hold while the plan is flying. First reaction from my co-workers as I pulled it out was "Wow that is ugly." Besides the color being bad, the inside of it has no lining. Feels sorta rough. It looked otherwise well made and probably works well in a utilitarian way. Nonetheless put it back in the box and returned it after checking it out for 5 mins.

I live in Africa so we travel a lot between North America, Africa and Thailand and have always purchased Samsonite for the last 20 years. The last few Samsonite suitcases we purchased had zippers that broke easily usually lasting just 2 or 3 trips and then out in the trash. We decided to go back to the no zipper suitcases so we looked and looked until we found these, no zippers just easy to code locks, large interior and I love the orange color. I really don't think that an elephant could stand on these like the old commercials but I'm confident that they cannot be tampered with or broken into as easily as the zippered ones.

Fortunately I'm one of those people who starts packing a week before a trip. I was about to leave on a trip that was going to take me from Utah to Chicago to Florida to Las Vegas and back to Utah. A long trip with 4 separate flights. The handle on my suitcase was broken when I got it out of the closet, so I quickly ordered this one on Amazon. The orange was perfect for me (Go Vols!) and would be easy to find among all the black suitcases on the belt. I was also hoping I could carry more with me as the suitcase I had was heavy empty and seemed to hit 50 pounds with hardly anything in it. I really like the spinner wheels. I walk with a crutch, so being able to just push it along was a lot easier than dragging it like you have to do with a suitcase with only 2 wheels. It held up well during the four flights, though it's not as bright and shiny now. It's got scuff marks, but it held up well. Unfortunately it doesn't seem that my weight problem is resolved because I still had to struggle to keep it under 50 lbs. without even stuffing it full. Update: After only 2 or 3 uses the lock jammed. At the airport I asked TSA to use their "TSA approved lock" opener to get it open and they couldn't either. The TSA guy told me that it's fairly common for these built in locks to jam and the only thing I could do was take a screw driver and pop it out. I was surprised how easy it was to pop out the lock! Anyone who wanted to break into the suitcase could do it in less than a minute. The result of popping out the lock is that I can no longer lock it. The suitcase is perfectly good for use but I can't lock it, so no more flying with it. I would rather have the ability to use my own lock. I was careful with my next suitcase purchase not to get one with a built-in lock.
