It's just as described. I went with the 28-inch duffle and also picked up the Amazon Basics medium-sized packing cubes. I was surprised at how much I could fit, six cubes in the top compartment, which can hold about 12 outfits if you pack two full outfits per cube. Plus, I can lay six more cubes flat on the bottom tier, perfect for thicker jackets, shoes, or bulkier items. I even managed to fit a foldable duffle inside for souvenirs or extra space if needed. The two side pockets are pretty roomy too. You can easily fit a nice-sized toiletry bag with some extra room to spare. I plan to use those pockets for chargers and other quick-access items. Overall, I think it’s a great bag—it holds a lot and feels well-made. Just a heads-up, the fabric used for dividing the sections is pretty thin and doesn’t stretch much, so it could tear if you’re not careful. Also, if you’re trying to stand it upright with the handle out, it doesn’t do that very well—it’s a bit top-heavy and will topple over. But overall, I’m really happy with it! ... show more

This is my second identical bag. The 5 star reviews are correct, and the 1 star reviews are also correct. This is not a durable bag, but it is an awesome bag for travelling. Years ago our first one popped a seam on day 1 when we packed (over-packed?) it, and then it wore a hole through the material in a shockingly short amount of time. We sewed up the torn stitch and put a patch on the worn spot, and it became a worthy travel companion. We love it so much, I just bought a second one because nothing compares to it for utility and affordability. The bottom "tray" is perfect for packing for a longer trip: instead of having a bottomless duffel bag, you can strategically back the lower part and then fill up the top part separately. Much better than excavating for your underwear or socks at every new destination along your journey. I specifically insisted on a roller duffel because trying to fit a hard sided suitcase in the trunk of a rental car is a nightmare compared to tossing this thing in the back. It's also great for wheeling around cobblestone roads with its big wheels. I highly recommend this bag, but if you want/need the quality of a bag twice the price, then go ahead and spend twice the price on something else. In fact I think Samsonite themselves sells a similar bag for twice the price that is a bit more robust, so go for it. ... show more

Not durable at all. I purchased one of these and on the first trip, the zipper on one of the compartments gave way and all the items in that compartment were lost. Luckily Delta replaced the item and all the contents that were lost the 2nd was not much better. After the 3rd trip, the fabric tore at the top handle in 2 places. This is a piece of crap and it not worth the money. I am now on my 3rd duffle but this time I learned my lesson and did NOT purchase Samsonite. ... show more

I like this bag because it can carry quite a bit, but it has a pretty big flaw. The bottom near the wheels doesn’t have any kind of reinforcement and is the same material as the rest of the bag. As a result it tends to develop holes there pretty quickly. I’ve gone through two of them now. You can patch the holes if you catch them while they’re small but after a year expect the bottom of the bag to be covered in holes or patches. ... show more
