The Samsonite Alliance SE 20-inch carry-on is very impressive on many fronts. It has a sleek black look, a beautiful brushed aluminum appearance, and the hard shell seems durable and as if it will hold up to inevitable hard wear. One of the best things about this bag is the 360° dual spinner wheels. I know it seems cliche to say that they roll as smoothly as butter, but they actually do! I have traveled a lot and have never had as smooth-rolling wheels as these. It makes it feel much simpler to navigate through a crowded airport. The handle feels robust and has multiple height adjustments. The boxy design means that you can use every inch for packing, which is a great benefit. I like that the interior has two large zipped compartments, unlike the traditional carry-on design that has an elastic strap on one side (I always find that things aren't as secure with that design). The brushed metallic finish means that, after having taken several trips with this carry-on, it still looks brand new. Overall, it feels like a high-quality yet stylish bag that lives up to the Samsonite name. There is a lot to love about this carry-on but my favorite thing is the smoothness and excellent quality of the wheels. For that reason, I would buy it again and again.

I have owned allot of luggage and even older samsonite. These are just as good as my older samsonite but better in a lot of ways. The pictures from the other reviews are correct and actually what you get. A basic black or silver color no frills. But the smooth gliding 360 wheels, telescoping adjustable handle smooth effortless zipper are wonderful bring a smile to my face and this is only luggage I keep telling myself. But a piece of luggage that works as intended is smooth rolling long lasting and is sturdy is all I ever ask for. I have bought cheaper ones that appear to mirror everything I am looking for but it never works out with generic luggage in my case. They are very sturdy and I have traveled several times with them and they look brand new. I had some other hard shell case type that looked great but got crushed I am assuming with the weight of other bags on top of them. These are not that type of luggage, these are sturdy and lightweight and hold their shape and form very well. Highly recommended. And now the prices have come down a lot since the pandemic, luggage has been out of stock a lot of places on Amazon and at very high prices especially for a multi piece set. If your looking and ready to purchase don't think twice and get these you won't be dissapointed.

Samsonite always makes quality luggage in my opinion, and this set is no different. The wheels are silky smooth, the handles extend without any force. They have TSA compliant locks built in, so no need to buy locks. And when they are not in use, they nest cleanly inside each other.

The large suitcase is 65 linear inches and most airlines only take 62 without on oversized charged so was afraid to keep. It would've been helpful to have dimensions of all the luggage on the description. It was nice but had to return.

So, let me start by saying I travel a lot for work. So a good quality suitcase is important. I have had other brands but Samsonite is my favorite. This suitcase line by their brand stands up to their quality. A. lot of hard sided bags in stores can almost be pushed in with your hand easily so they definitely will not hold up to travel conditions. Additionally, a lot of other brands are not level and will tump over once they are full, and that is no matter how you load the suitcase. Samsonite is wonderful! They are well balanced and well made. This bag also has butter smooth spinners. It will turn with just a slight finger push. Also, the inside is well thought out. it is spacious and it also has zip covers for both sides which is rare. The bag also has the TSA lock which I never use because TSA is a hassle if you do look your bag. I do use the lock however if I leave my bag with a concierge while I wait for a room at a hotel, so it is a good feature but not really a deciding factor for me. I am a huge fan of this brand and this bag.

I like the size and shape of this carry on and the wheels are good. Handle feels good. The lid feel off when you open it and feelsa little unbalanced as the lid is bigger than the lower section, which I think is due to the desire to have a zippered expansion section and have it look balanced when closed. The lid expands but not much more than an inch. Overall a nice suitcase.

I don't travel on planes as much as I used to but when I do I find having a solid carry on makes the trip a lot easier. This Samsonite Hardside carry-on has a sleek, modern design that makes the most out of every inch for impressive packing capacity. The boxy shape is practical, and the industrial-grade metal handle with an ergonomic grip feels solid, making it easy to maneuver with confidence. The hard shell has a brushed aluminum-like finish, which looks sharp and holds up well against scratches, so it stays looking new. The 360° dual spinner wheels roll incredibly smoothly, making it a breeze to glide through airports. I have other carry ons, including a 7 year old 20" Samsonite hard shell, and this one is by far the lightest, easiest rolling wheels, best interior space of the lot. Overall, this luggage combines durability, style, and functionality, perfect for a reliable carry-on that’s built to last. For the price of this carry on, I think I'd spend the extra money and get the entire three piece set. It's a little over double but well worth it. Our other great set is a three piece Samsonite hard shell and it blows away the other luggage we own. Those...getting handed down to the kids. The Samsonite...all for us.
