Revised: Unfortunately after about 3.5 months of use this cracked right along one of the areas that bends. While we do use it frequently it is not opened and closed daily and it’s ridiculous to me that it’s cracked after such a short period of time, especially considering the price. It wasn’t showing any wear at all, it just broke out of the blue. I really loved the product initially, but unfortunately it just did not hold up. We’ve had this for about a month now and we use it almost daily (We have a newborn and a toddler, so yes lots of laundry). We have a small house and we got this to tuck between the wall and the dryer when we don’t need it. It folds down small enough to fit perfectly where we need it to and even though it’s been opened and closed a lot already it still holds up firmly. It’s stiff to the point that I put a foot in and then pull up on both sides when I open it, it’s hard to do just my hands which I think is a good thing. I love the three handle option because I always carry it on my hip and it’s nice to be able to carry it that way easily. I thought this was a bit pricey for being a laundry basket, and maybe you can find it cheaper elsewhere, but it been worth every penny for us. ... show more

I got this product for the same reason as many other consumers. A basket with the convenience to remain compact and sturdy. I absolutely loved using this basket, especially since I do not have a large space to dwell in, let alone store stuff. So, this basket was perfect. However, my problem is similar to another consumer who has posted pictures, but with the red version. The basket has started to experience a few tears along the collapsible sections after use over a few weeks. I am very disappointed by this fact and now am looking for a replacement. This was the greatest invention for a small house! If only it lasted. We keep it flat, stored sideways in a closet next to a hamper and deploy it several times a week for laundry. I don't think it gets excessive use. After a little more than a year of use, the rubber has torn. Best laundry baskets ever. Quite sturdy when in use, but collapse for storage. No more ungainly laundry baskets taking up space. Quite thoughtful and practical design, too, with 3 cushioned grip carry handles and a curved side for your hip. This thing is GREAT. I use it when we travel, basically as a hamper and to transport laundry back and forth from our room to the laundry room. Best part is that it folds up nice and flat for storage. I used to use the collapsible mesh hampers, but this is much easier to carry when full of clothes.

I bought this in Dec 2019. I loved how flat and compact it got for storage but after a few months of normal laundry use, the silicone bands that fold started to crack. Now, one year later, they’re almost completely split making the basket unusable. For the price I paid, it should last more than a year. Now I have to start looking for a new basket. ... show more

I was expecting it to feel cheap or thin , but it surprisingly thick plastic. Even more impressive was the baffles that allow it to collapse are thick as well.
