I purchased this body wash because it seemed extremely popular based on the reviews and TikTok videos I kept seeing about it. Honestly, I was very skeptical about spending this much money on a body wash because it is definitely pricey. However, with how hyped up the Salt & Stone brand is, I figured it had to be amazing. One thing I will say is that you do get a fairly large bottle, so I imagine it will last me quite a long time even with regular use. The scent is okay, but not necessarily my favorite. I purchased the bergamot scent because it seemed to be one of the most popular options based on reviews. To me, it smells a little more like cologne or perfume than I personally prefer, but it is not unpleasant or overpowering. The body wash itself lathers nicely and does exactly what you would expect a good soap to do. My skin feels clean afterward without feeling dry, tight, or irritated. Overall, I do not really have any major complaints about the product itself because it performs well and feels high-quality. The packaging is also beautiful and looks very posh sitting in my shower, which definitely adds to the luxury feel. However, would I personally repurchase it again for the price? Probably not. I honestly think a large part of the cost comes from the Salt & Stone brand name and aesthetic rather than the product being dramatically better than less expensive body washes.

I absolutely loved several aspects of this body wash. At first, I was hesitant because it feels a bit pricey for the size, especially for daily use, but a small amount truly goes a long way and it lathers beautifully. The scent is unique, calming, and long-lasting it feels luxurious and blends nicely with my skin and my vanilla perfume which I really appreciated However, over time, my skin type didn’t fully agree with it. After several days of use, I began to experience some breakouts on my back and mild irritation, common areas for my acne so I eventually had to switch back to my previous body wash. While I genuinely enjoyed the fragrance and the sensory experience, my skin responded better to my usual Neutrogena routine. Overall, it’s a beautifully scented and elegant product, but it may not be the best fit for all skin types.

I really enjoyed this body wash. The scent is excellent—clean, pleasant, and long-lasting without being overpowering. That said, I can't really complain about the product itself because it performs well and smells fantastic. If you're willing to splurge on a premium body wash, it's worth trying.
